SAN PEDRO BARGES STATION to be use for mooring river barges, which still remains for cargo and/ or discharge operations at San Nicolás, Ramallo, Nueva Palmira into water way Ports. Contemplates a total of 10 moorings bouys, where it is estimated some 120 barges Mississippi type, from N° 1 to 10, without any restrictions to entry and/ or sail 24 hours/day, a convoy up and/ or down river, also having more than 10 meter or maximun drafts/ river deep, with a space for manouvering for convoy with about 625 meters of breath of chan-

Barges Station - KM 458 at Paraná River (Sunflowers) Barges Mooring site located in San Lorenzo Port, at Km 457 to 459, Carcarañá Island, right bank, which ensures a mooring reliable, safe and maneuverable enough to stem tugboats anchored the 365 days / year and also strategically located on the outskirts of the unloading terminal grains, oils, byproducts, as well as oil terminals near the replenishment shipments for fuel and lubricants, Primary Customs Area, organic waste discharges according Res. No. 714/10 SENASA, event insurance for Official Inspections, Authorities, Surveys, Repair Workshops and / or SubAquatic inspections by divers. Coastguard enabled Argentina and Secretary for Ports and Waterways, with room for docking of barge convoys, Office of control, with permanent staff, custody, 12 mooring buoys, specially built, light regulation, code IALA, and fluid communication with the trailers and the cons, support the surveillance of the area, had 12 buoys with their respective Mooring with capacity for 120 barges, approved by Coastguard and Waterways Authorities.
SLOPS / SLUDGE DISCHARGES Into Litoral Area from Ramallo to San Lorenzo Ports has been two possibilities to discharge SLOP or SLUDGE in bulk as follow: A) By Barge: From Official transshipment into anchorage sending a river tanker barge with a maximum self capacity of 250 tons officially authorized by National Coastguard and Custom House Office Operations in second off, by a hoses connections 6” or 8” inchs, and then discharge at shore by trucks to dispousal plant to process until obtain Official Discharge Certificate. B) By Tanker Trucks: Most to be mooring at Rosario Port Terminal and them by line connection direct from vessel or River tug discharge slop or sludge also authorized by National Coastguard and Custom House Office. In two cases the cost of this operations depend of the slop / sludge quantity / Port taxes / and/ Or overtime Custom House Personnel to appoint or not according with vessel/ tug program, all Authorized by National Coastguard and Custom House Office, in all respects according with international rules of pollution OMI (Planacon Plan de Contingencia).

Transshipment Station (Km. 464 at Paraná River) Station Tranship " ALIANZA G-2 " located at Parana River Km. 464 into San Lorenzo Port, operate by yours Onwers Messrs UABL (Ultraocean) Buenos Aires. This Station operation was approved by National Port Authorities as an official "Transhipment Station" and she receive grains cargoes procceding from Mercosur countries Brazil - Paraguay - Bolivia in order to transhipment from small barges (each1500 MT) To the station and them from there to ocean vessel type of panamax 185 metters LOA as permissible according Port Authorities regulations. The full capacity of Alianza G-2 reach 35.000 MT of Grains and/ or sub-products . They load by two cranes 500 MT each 24 hours /days including satarday And Sunday. The cargo control survey carried out by Argentine National Custom house personnel on board during operations effecting a same control at shore terminals.
La Alumbrera (Km. 457at Paraná River) Private berth operated by Terminal 6 S.A with La Alumbrera ship loader and supervision and especially constructed for the loading of mineral ore (copper concentrate) from the Down La Alumbrera mine in Catamarca. The berth consists of 5 dolphins giving a berthing front of 180 m with outlying bow and stern mooring points , length overall 348 m. Depth alongside 12,50 m (41ft). Deadweight limitations for vessels using berth: in railway wagons, being transferred to a 36” conveyor belt which feeds a radial ship loader. Load

Loading / Unloading Terminals... Terminal 6 (Km. 456 at Paranรก River) Private berth owned by Terminal 6 S.A: A) NORTH BERTH: Sloghthly up-river from the older South Berth, this berth was built originally to attend the unloading of river barges carrying bulk cargo from up river ports using grab discharge, and in 1998 a new berth was built parallel toward parallel towards the channel leaving a 23 meters wide gap for barges operations. The new berth was built improving the south berth, to accommodate ocean going vessels and is operational since 1999.berth details: 4 dolphins with 161 m berthing front and two outlying mooring dolphins. LOA 275 m; depth alongside 12,20 m (40ft); air clearance 25 m at datum. Equipment: 2 loading arms with spoon trimmers. Load rates: grains 1000 TPH, pellets 800 ton. This berth is connected to the terminal by a single belt conveyor, and will eventually be fitted with a second belt plus two additional loading arms (see also Resinfor for Vegetable oils loading).
B) SOUTH BERTH: in operation as from 1987 offering a berthing front of 155 m afforded by 4 dolphins together with 2 outlying dolphins together with 2 outlying dolphins for bow and stern moorings, depth alongside 12,20 m (40 ft), air clearance at datum 21 m .Cape size vessels load here. Tugboat assistance is not required. Grain and by-products are loaded at this berth via 2 feeder lines and 4 loading arms with 2 outlying dolphins for bow and stern moorings, depth alongside 12,20 m (40ft), air clearance at datum 21 m . Loading / Unloading Terminals... Resinfor Terminal (Km. 455 at Paraná River) Private berth belonging to Resinfor Metanol S.A built in 1991/92 for export of Methanol and Urea formaldehyde resin. (UFC). Berth consists of two reinforeed concrete dolphins 55 m apart, with central loading tower set slightly inland from dolphins and which connected to shore by metal viaduct. An outlying mooring tower upstream and morning tower upstream and moorning buoy downstream permit morning of vessels up to 240 m LOA, Ddwt 46.000 tn. Overall length between mornings 290 m. The loading tower has three different levels to be used convenient depending on vessel’s size and height of the river and has pipelines load on from storage tanks ashore. Tank capacity 8000 cbm methanol, 1700 cbm UFC Load rate methanol 170/250 TPH, UFC 160 TPH from 2x6” pipelines. Depth alongside at datum reportedly 10, 30 m (34 ft). Terminal 6 S.A have made arrangements to use this berth for exporting vegetable oils from their new crushing plant.
Cargill - Quebracho Terminal (Km. 454,5 at Paraná River) Terminal for grain, by products and vegetable oils owned by Cargill. Berth: 4 reinforced concrete dolphins. Length overall 230 m with two outlying mooring dolphins, suitable for vessels 250 m LOA. Depth alongside reportedly 9, 10 m (30ft) at datum; air clearance 21 m at datum. Cargo transferred from silos/flats by inclined conveyor belt to loading gallery. Gallery supported on three towers stepped alongside dolphins and towers fitted with one multidirectional loading arm (northem end) and two teles copies chutes. Outreach arm 22m ;chutes 20 m. Average loading grain 1000 TPH, by products 600 TPH, one product at a time. Silo storage capacity 580.000 tons grain/by products. Reception 15.000 ton grain per day ex trucks. Parking space 500 trucks. No railway sidings. Berth fitted whith 1 x 2” pipeline for loading soybean oil from storage tanks with total 30.000 ton capacity. Average load rate 900 TPH. Working hours: M/F 06:00/14:00 14:00/22:00 Sat 06:00/12:00 Remainder overtime. Exports 2001. Approximately 3,75 millons tons grain/by-products and vegetable oils. Fresh water available ,shore gangway available. Bunkers by barge only subjeet Terminal Operator`s approval. Quebracho Ferthilizers Port: This terminal is situated immediately south of the Cargill grain terminal. The berth consists of 3 dolphins offering a berthing a berthing front of 130 with 2 outlying mooring towers, giving an overall length of 270 m, depth alongside 11 m; fresh water and electric power available at pier; fitted with hoppers and conveyor belts to permit grab discharge of fertilizers to a 120.000 tons capacity deposit; discharge rate 500 tons/h. As per Coastguard dispositions, the berth is suitable for vessels of maximum LOA 210 m and 42.000 tons displacement. In 2008 imports amounted 404.000 tons of Urea and other fertilizers.

Loading / Unloading Terminals... Terminal El Transito (At Paraná River Km. 449) Berth built in 1968, acquired by Alfred C.TOEPFER S.A, who commended operations in 1969. Berthing is on 6 dolphins. Depth alongside at datum about 10 m (34ft), datum air clearance 19 m. Grain loading arrangements on the berth now consist of three tall latticed loading towers (two northern towers interconnected and fed by one conveyor belt) fitted with three teles copies chutes which are swung out on fixed horizontal arms over the vessel. The original lower central loading position has been retained for loading vegetable oil only, with two oil pipelines laid onto berth giving delivery rate of about 700 TPH. Terminal grain storage capacity 140.000 ton with reception from trucks only at about 1000 TPH. Vegetable oil storage capacity 40.000 tons. Exports in 2001 amounted to 1.992.000 tons. Terminal working time from Monday 06:00 up to Saturdays 14:00. Can operate during weekend with O/T payment. Grain storage capacity 528.000 (9x52.000 MT. 10x6000 MT, all interconnected). Reception rate 1500 TPH from trucks, 800 TPH from wagons, 600 TPH from barges. Parking arca for about 700 trucks. Fitted whith railway sidings capable of handling 135 loaded and 60 empty wagons and interconnected with national railway line. Distance 11 km to National Highway # 9.
Bunge Argentina - Terminal Pampa (At Paraná River - Km. 449) This is a private berth owned by Bunge Argentina S.A Vessels berth on three dolphins affording a berthing front of 125 m with outlying head stern mooring points. Suitable for up to LOA 270 m and beam 38m. Depth alongside 12,20 m (40 ft) at datum , air clearance 25,7 m at datum. Loading is via two inclined conveyor belts capable of bandling two different simultaneously, to an overhead loading gallery supported on three reinforced concrete towers stepped alongside dolphins and fitted with 3 loading arms. Load rates: grain 2000 TPH (2x1000), pellets 1600 TPH (2x800). Storage capacity 420.000 ton. Bunkering not allowed. 2001 grain and by-products exports amounted to 2, 15 million tons.
Bunge Argentina S.A. - Dempa Terminal (At Paraná River - Km. 448,5) Terminal for grain, by products, vegetable oils also owned by Bunge Argentina S.A Berth: 5 reinforced concrete dolphins length overall 225 m with outlying head/stern moorings. Depth alongside 12,20 m (40ft) at datum; air clearance 22,85 m at datum, suitable for vessels of maximum LOA 250 m beam 32,5 m. Cargo Transferred from silos via conveyor belt to one loading arm fitted with vertical chute located at center of berth. Loading arm has movement and vessels required shift up and down berth to load hatches. Average loading rate grain 900 TPH. By products 600 TPH. Storage capacity grain, by products 150.000 ton. Reception rate 600/700 TPH ex trucks. Adjacent parking for 1250 trucks. Terminal connected to railway. Berth fitted with 1x6” and 1x10” vegetable oils pipelines to oil tanks permiting loading of two types of oil simultaneously. Tank storage capacity 40.000 ton. Load rate 600 TPH. Working Hours: M/F 06:00/12:00, 12:00/18:00. Sat 06:00/12:00. Remainder overtime 2001 exports amounted to 803.000 ton grain/by products and vegetable oils. Bunkering not allowed.

Loading / Unloading Terminals... Terminal A.C.A. (Km. 446,2) Private Grain Terminal owned by Asociacion de Cooperativas Argentinas. Inaugurated in 1985.Vessels berth on 4 dolphins,frontage 176 m with outlying head stern mooring bollards. Vessels of up to 273 m LOA have berthed. Supply from storage is via two inclined conveyor belts to the overhead loading which is supported on 4 latticed on 4 latticed towers stepped onto plate forms adjacent to the dolphins. Loading is via 4 multidirectional arms with chutes at their extremities which are swung out over the vessel, outreach 22 m, load rate grain, 1500 TPH, by products 1000 TPH. Depth alongside at datum about 12,20 m (40 ft) . Air clearance 16 m at datum with loading arm horizontal. Berth fitted with 2x12” pipelines for vegetables oil with reduction to 8”, load rate 850 TPH, Terminal storage capacity grain 340.000 ton, agri by-products 55.000 ton oil 36.000 ton. Grain reception ex trucks 1200 TPH , wagons 800 TPH, Parking for 350 trucks, railway siding for 90 wagons. Normal working hours M/F 06:00/1800. Sat 06:00/12:00. Fertilizers are discharged by grab/ship’s crane at aprox 500 TPH basis three gangs. Exports 2001 approximately 2, 76 millons tons. Bunkers by barge and truck subject to ACA’ s. Authorization. ACA built downstream from the terminal for a new pier unloading ships mainly fertilizers and unloading / loading of barges from the waterway and / or removed from any national port in the north by example Diamante, Santa Fe, Vilelas Port, Brugo Port , Mana Port , etc. The official authorization that you have is for berthing ocean vessels up to a max length of 200 meters on the east side (Water), and barges operations by west side . When there is not ocean vessels in operation, the barges can operate both in east and west. The pier consists of 4 dolphin and mooring buoy to the south, on the same operating platform is the team that called Port link barge unloading, it is a continuous discharge system which is inserted into the barge, bringing the merchandise to through a wheel, which then carries through redlers and tapes to the terminal facilities, rated capacity 600 tons / hour. Pier 1 also has cranes and winch 8 for opening and closing lids or wineries / barges. It is estimated that about 130.000 tons / year, which are estimated to reduce 4500 trucks in the area.
Terminal Vicentín (Km. 442) Private Grain/ Vegetables Oils Terminal owned by Vicentin SAIC, inaugurated 1987. Vessels berth on dolphins, berthing frontage 140 m with outlying moorning dolphins 95 m ahead, 60 m asterm. Depth alongside at datum 11, 60 m (38ft); air clearance 24, 5 m at datum with loading arm in horizontal position. Cargo transferred front flats/silos by two conveyor belts to overhead loading gallery which supported on three reinforced concrete towers stepped adjacent to dolphins. Towers fitted three multidirectional loading arms having vertical chutes and fitted with mechanical trimmers. Maximum loading rate grain 1200 ton, by products 700 ton per belt and can load two products simultaneously. Berth fitted with 2x6”/10” pipelines for loading vegoil, loadrate 800 TPH and vegoil also loaded at adjacent ICI (Ex-Duperial) berth via 1x10” pipeline. Terminal storage grain/pellets 323.000 ton, vegoil 90700 ton. Reception from trucks 1400 TPH. Parking space 480 trucks plus additional adjacent space. Exports 2008 grain/by products 5, 15 millons tons. Berth also has good barge discharging facilities on its inner side whole convoys of barges coming from upriver ports can be accommodated, grain/pellets being discharged via two suction units onto conveyor belt fitted on South end of berth. Bulk sulphur for adjacent ICI (Ex Duperial)Terminal also discharged at this berth using ship´s gear with grab discharge to hoppers placed over above mentioned conveyor belt and on carried via series of additional conveyor belts.
