Credit to Tokyo College Students During October, the School welcomed, for the second year running, piano students from the Tokyo College of Music. Whilst they were visiting the School, the students received a formal introduction to western conservatoire teaching techniques and self-reflection, with the assessment counting towards credits for their degree programme back in Japan. At a certificate presentation ceremony hosted by the Principal, the students expressed how much they had enjoyed their time in London and at the School. A big thank you goes to Noriko Ogawa and Laura Roberts in the Keyboard Department and Louise Bakker in the Music Office for making this visit a huge success. Thanks also to Ronan O’Hora who initiated this exchange programme. v Katharine Lewis Head of Registry Services and Quality Assurance & Enhancement
