LANDING NÉ BARROS
A er a period of artistic residence at Centro de Criação de Candoso, the latest creation of choreographer Né Barros comes to the stage at Centro Cultural Vila Flor. “Landing” is the title of the new creation of choreographer Né Barros, a show that starts from the idea of arrival, of landing in a state of things. e bodies on the scene are both stateless bodies (without membership or homeland) and embedded with the memory of a place, a land, a continent. ese bodies are screens for images of war and paradise, images from now and old times. e themes (as in other previous works by the choreographer) are directions, clues and landscapes on a body. Amoral, this body fights and insists to find its way.
“Landing” é o título da nova criação da coreógrafa Né Barros. Um espetáculo que parte da ideia de chegada, de aterragem num estado de coisas. Os corpos em cena são simultaneamente corpos apátridas (o corpo dançante como desterritorialização, sem pertença nem pátria) e corpos da memória de um lugar, de uma terra, de um continente. Estes corpos são lugar de entrada onde circulam imagens de guerra e de paraíso, imagens de agora e imagens antigas. É esse o desenlace. Os temas, como noutros trabalhos anteriores da coreógrafa, são mais direções processuais, pistas e paisagens sobre o que um corpo em gestos se permite alcançar. Amoral, este corpo batalha em livre destino, e é a insistência desse curso que se vai fazendo terra.
