FACILITIES MASTER PLAN (FMP)
The Grand Traverse County / City of Traverse City Facilities Master Plan (FMP) project kicked in March with an introductory presentation to department managers Teams including Joe Berry, Chris Forsyth and our experts at TowerPinkster then began conducting facility assessment walk-throughs to gather baseline assessments of what currently exists.
What's Happening Now?
Facility assessment walk-throughs will continue on April 21st and conclude on April 24th. There is no need for you to be present during these walk-throughs, however it would be helpful to have all office spaces as accessible as possible. There may also be reviews of some exteriors/building sites on the 17th.
What's up next?
We will be scheduling conversations with department groups April 25 – 28th to gather more information
What to know:
A schedule will be sent to managers ASAP to meet among similar departments and discuss with our consultants how our current uses of places & spaces are serving our needs. This is a chance to help inform the planning process and identify what’s working well and what opportunities for improvements there might be.
