one of the nation’s most unique and beautiful college football settings.
This is a special season — the 100th anniversary of competition on Grant
Field — and we’re grateful that you’ll be part of it. We’ll highlight the memorable moments, unforgettable teams and remarkable players and coaches from those 100 years with a special celebration at our Sept. 26 Thursday night game against Virginia Tech. Many of our former All-Americans will

be in attendance that evening and you won’t want to miss it. At each home game, your safety, comfort and convenience are our primary concerns. This fan guide is intended to provide information about policies, procedures and services available to you when attending games on campus. I hope you’ll take the time to review it prior to your visit as it should answer many of your questions about game-day activities. Speaking of gameday, I’m confident you’ll enjoy Yellow Jacket football this season as we combine head coach Paul Johnson’s high-powered offense with an aggressive defensive scheme under new coordinator Ted Roof. Our home schedule is full of opportunity for significant wins, as we host division rivals North Carolina and Virginia Tech in a six-day stretch in September. ACC newcomers Pittsburgh and Syracuse will also come to Grant Field, and we end the regular season with arch-rival Georgia. As I begin my first full year at Georgia Tech, I’d like to thank you for your support of our football program. A defining characteristic of the very best football programs in the country is tremendous fan energy and enthusiasm. Our players deserve nothing less, and I appreciate all you do to create a great college football environment in Bobby Dodd Stadium. I look forward to seeing you on campus and please know that we want your visit to be safe and enjoyable.
