Director of Operations 5th Year at Georgia Tech U.S. Naval Academy (1999) Jason Snider is in his fifth year as Georgia Tech’s Director of Football Operations. As Director of Football Operations, Snider works closely with head coach Paul Johnson overseeing all aspects of the program’s dayto-day support operations. Snider implements, builds, and develops the team budget, oversees business contracting, team travel, personnel, and facility upgrades and renovations. He also serves as the football liaison for the Football Coaches' Committee. Snider, 36, came to Tech in January of 2008 as assistant director of football operations and was promoted to the director of operations seven months later. A native of McArthur, Ohio, Snider received an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy from Ohio Governor Ted Strickland. Snider went on to graduate from the Academy in 1999 with a degree in political science. As a Midshipman, Snider was a three-year varsity letterwinner and starting defensive tackle on the 1996 Aloha Bowl team. He later went on to become the 1998 defensive captain and member of the Annapolis Touchdown Club. Following graduation, Snider served as the communications officer aboard USS Robert G. Bradley and Officer of the Deck aboard USS Harry S. Truman. On March 20, 2003, Snider was the acting Officer of the Deck aboard the Truman when the United States launched initial attacks against Iraq. After his service in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea, Snider returned to the Naval Academy and worked on Paul Johnson’s staff for two years, serving as director of football operations and assistant defensive line coach. In 2004, he helped mentor a Navy team that finished 102 and earned a win over New Mexico in the 2004 Emerald Bowl in San Francisco. Prior to his arrival at Georgia Tech, Snider served as the athletic director at Jackson High School in Jackson, Ohio. In July of 2007, he was appointed to Rio Grande Community College’s Board of Trustees. He is the owner of The Annapolis Co. and Mound Hill Farms. Snider was married to the former Carrie King of Houston, Texas, in July 2011. The couple resides in Atlanta.

Mike Huff begins his second season at Georgia Tech as Assistant Director of Football Operations. In addition to serving as the special assistant to the Director of Football Operations, Huff’s duties include the organization of team travel, spring and preseason training camp, and assisting with the day to day operations of the program.

Huff joined the football staff in the fall of 2011 after spending the previous three seasons as a member of the Georgia Tech sports information staff. Prior to arriving at Tech, Huff worked six months in the UMass sports information office in 2008. Huff holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Dayton in 2007, and a master’s degree in sport administration from Georgia State in 2010. He was a member of the University of Dayton soccer team from 2003-2006. Huff is single and resides in Atlanta.

LIAM KLEIN Director of Player Personnel 10th Year at Georgia Tech Monmouth (2001) Liam Klein, a member of the Georgia Tech staff since 2003, enters his sixth year as the Yellow Jacket Director of Player Personnel. Klein directs Tech's coaching clinics, camps and other events while administering the Jackets' on-campus recruiting efforts and serving as the team's academic liaison. Before being promoted in 2007, Klein served as a graduate assistant for three seasons, working with the Yellow Jackets' nationally-ranked defense. In addition to preparing scouting reports and coordinating the scout team, he helped coach linebackers in 2006 after assisting with the defensive line in 2004-05. During his three seasons as a graduate assistant, Tech's defense ranked in the top 30 in the nation in total defense, scoring defense, rushing defense and pass efficiency defense. Klein originally came to Tech prior to the 2003 season and spent six months as assistant director of football operations before moving to the coaching staff. Klein also has two years of coaching experience at the NCAA I-AA level, serving as outside linebackers and safeties coach for Harvard in 2002, and defensive line coach for Lafayette College in 2001. A three-year starter on the offensive line for Monmouth University, Klein earned a bachelor's degree from Monmouth in education and interdisciplinary in history and political science in 2001. A native of Norwood, NJ, Klein is married to the former Kathryn Mills and they reside in Smyrna, Ga.

TOM CONNER Equipment Manager 21st Year at Georgia Tech Alabama (1980) Tom Conner is in his 21st season as Georgia Tech’s Equipment Manager. A certified athletic equipment manager, Conner is responsible for procuring and maintaining all equipment and uniforms for the football program and also assists in ordering gear for Tech’s other sports programs. Conner came to Tech in 1992 after four years as the equipment manager at the United States Naval Academy. He also has experience at the professional level after serving four years (1982-86) as the head equipment manager for the Birmingham Stallions of the United States Football League. He then worked one year (1987) as assistant equipment manager at Duke University before moving to Navy in 1988. Conner also spent two years as assistant equipment manager at the University of Missouri. Conner earned his bachelor of science degree in physical education in 1980 from the University of Alabama, where he worked four years as a student manager for football. Conner, who completed a two-year seat as a member of the Schutt Manufacturers Advisory Board, was honored as the AEMA District III Equipment Manager of the Year for 199798. A native of Signal Mountain, Tenn., Conner is married to the former Pamela Bushman, and the couple has a 17-year-old son.
