• March 8, 1992: With its second one-point victory in as many days, Georgia Tech edges Clemson, 74-73, to become the first No. 7 seed to advance to the ACC Tournament final. • March 9, 1992: Tech’s bid for an ACC Tournament title falls short as the Yellow Jackets drop a one-point decision to top-ranked and top-seeded Virginia, 70-69. • March 28, 1992: Georgia Tech defeats Hawaii, 90-72, in the finals of the National Women’s Invitation Tournament to claim its first postseason championship. • Dec. 21, 1992: Tech makes its first appearance in the national polls, debuting at No. 25 in the Associated Press poll. The Jackets would climb as high as 23rd in the AP and 21st in the USA Today poll. • 1992-93: The Yellow Jackets receive their first invitation to the NCAA Tournament falling to Northwestern, 90-62, in the first round. • Feb. 19, 1993: Tech downs NC State, 92-89 in double overtime to make Agnus Berenato the winningest women’s basketball coach in school history.

• 1993: Joyce Pierce becomes the first Yellow Jacket to be named an honorable mention All-American, receiving the honor from Kodak. • Feb. 9, 1994: Agnus Berenato garners her 100th win as Yellow Jacket head coach with an 88-73 victory over East Tennessee State. • Feb. 27, 1994: By topping Duke 61-56, Coach Berenato wins her 150th overall game as a head coach. • Jan. 5, 1997: Georgia Tech defeats seventh-ranked NC State, 73-72, sparking back-to-back conference wins and a five-game win streak.

• Jan. 27, 1997: With 32 points against Duke, Kisha Ford becomes Tech’s alltime leading scorer. • Jan. 27, 1997: Tiffany Martin passes Ida Neal to become the Yellow Jacket’s all-time assist leader with 559. • Feb. 19, 1997: Kisha Ford is named National Player of the Week by Philadelphia On-Line Women’s Hoops after averaging 26 points and eight rebounds. • 1997: Kisha Ford earns first-team All-ACC honors, becoming the second player in school history to receive the distinction and the first to be named AllACC four years. • 1997: Kisha Ford becomes the first Yellow Jacket drafted by the WNBA, being taken by the New York Liberty. • Jan. 11, 1998: Coach Agnus Berenato records her 200th career win as the Jackets defeat Wake Forest 80-60. • 1998-99: Georgia Tech celebrates its 25th season of women’s basketball. • Nov. 27, 1998: Junior Danielle Donehew breaks the school record for most three-pointers made in a game with eight in a 96-62 win against Samford. • Jan. 2, 1999: Freshman Niesha Butler erupts for 40 points in Tech’s 92-70
