•• Wesley Foundation Chair Richard Bell, IM 61, of Atlanta, on March 26. He served as president of the Georgia Tech National Alumni Association and, for 17 years, as chairman of the board of the Tech Wesley Foundation. In the 1960s he lived in Taiwan, where he served as assistant provost marshal and as lieutenant ( junior grade) in Naval Intelligence. Upon returning to the United States, he entered a career in commercial and industrial real estate at Atlanta’s Pope and Carter Company. He later founded his own firms, Bell Cowart & Jackson and the Richard Bell Company. He was a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors, the Georgia Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors and the Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.
