Harper, ME, has been named assistant manager of the field and shop divisions and Ridge Construction Company of Eastman Kodak Company's Kodak Park Division in Rochester, New York. The Harpers reside at 32 Danbury Circle in Rochester. John O. McCarty, ME, has been elected director of Scientific-Atlanta, Inc., at the annual stockholders' meeting held October 28, 1970. Mr. McCarty is president of The Audichron Company, Atlanta, Georgia, a manufacturer of automatic announcing equipment for the telephone industry. John W. Zelinsky, CE. was coauthor of a paper on treatment plant use of polymer aids for dewatering on the elimination of solids loss in elutriation. Mr. Zelinsky is coordinator of facilities development for water pollution control for Washington, D. C. }

Abbott, IE, was ^ T L J killed in the crash of a Southern Airways charter plane November 14, 1970. Abbott, a 21-year veteran pilot, was captain of the plane carrying Marshall University players and supporters from Greenville, North Carolina to Huntington, West Virginia. Frederick B.
