Philip S. Armstrong, Jr., '65, has joined the Trane Company's Louisville, Ky., sales office as a sales engineer. He has recently completed the Trane specialized graduate engineer training program. The company manufactures heating equipment. Harrold Holliman, '65, has been promoted to Area Industrial Engineer for NationalSouthwire Aluminum Co. in Carrollton, Ga. Construction of a new $116 million plant for the company is underway in Kentucky. Stanley Morgan, '65, has been promoted to the position of Assistant Chief Industrial Engineer at National-Southwire Aluminum Co. in Carrollton, Ga. He was formerly area engineer with the company, which is involved in aluminum reduction. William R. Thomas, '65, has joined the faculty of the University qf South Carolina where he is now assistant professor of marketing. He is presently working on a doctorate degree in Business Administration. John A. Harrison, '66, is the new marketing staff assistant for Baxter Laboratories, Inc., Morton Grove, III. He attended Harvard Graduate School where he obtained a Masters degree in Business Administration. He resides in Skokie, III. R. W. Amis, Jr., '67, has been promoted to quality control manager of a new plant of Florida Tile Industries, Inc., which is being constructed at Lawrenceburg, Ky. The new plant will begin operation in 1968 and make ceramic wall tile. William Boakes, '67, has been named quality control manager of the Lakeland, Florida, plant of Florida Tile Industries, Inc. James W. Sikes, Chief Executive Officer of the corporation, announced Boakes' promotion'. Joseph T. Wesley, '67, has been named territory manager for the Parker Seal Company with headquarters in Vernon, Conn. He recently completed an intensive 15month training program with the company. He is a native Atlantan.
