2017 Panther Athletic Club Membership Guide


What is the PAC? Membership Year: January 1 – December 31 The Panther Athletic Club (PAC) is the primary fundraising arm of Georgia State Athletics. Annual donations made by PAC members provide Panther student-athletes with a championship experience in the classroom and in competition through scholarship, facility enhancement and programmatic support. Through your involvement, financial support, and investment, you can help us unite together as a Panther family to ensure success in all aspects of our program.

Why become a member of the PAC? - Support student-athletes - Enhance athletic facilities - Provide academic scholarships - Receive exclusive benefits:

- Priority seating and parking for football and basketball games

- Build PAC Priority Points: Based on total contributions to the Panther Athletic Club and other Athletic funds, consecutive years of membership, current giving membership level and season ticket purchases.

- Invitation to exclusive events to socialize and meet other members of the Panther Family who support Georgia State student-athletes.

- Support Burning Bright, the Campaign for Georgia State & much more!

- Ticket priorities for post-season competition including bowl games and championship tournaments.



Ways To Support Cash, Check & Credit/Debit Card Donations Most Panther Athletic Club membership gifts are cash. These can be made by writing a check payable to “GSU Foundation/PAC” or using your American Express, MasterCard,Visa or Discover card. You can maximize the impact of your PAC gift with the convenience of spreading payments out through the year by making a pledge and setting up automatic drafting. Gifts In Kind Gifts of goods, products or services that assist Georgia State Athletics by defraying needed expenses. Please consult your tax advisor for exact tax benefits. Matching Gifts Many companies will match your Panther Athletic Club membership gift. Submit your company’s matching gift form with your contribution, and it can significantly increase your support and associated giving level. Securities (Stock) You may eliminate paying capital gains tax and receive an income tax charitable deduction for gifts of long-term appreciated securities. Planned Gift You may donate through will provisions, life insurance and other bequests. Estate gifts may be made by donating a designated amount, a real asset or by making a residual bequest.


Priority Points Priority points are awarded based on total giving to athletics, consecutive years of giving to athletics, season ticket purchases and other bonus points programs. A donor’s priority point total determines their priority rank.This priority points system is utilized to most equitably determine priority allocation for amenities such as game day parking location within qualifying PAC giving levels, home, away and post-season ticket assignments and premium seating opportunities. In order to utilize your PAC priority points and rank, you must be a current Panther Athletic Club member for that calendar year (Jan. 1 – Dec. 31). Panther Athletic Club points are utilized to most equitably determine selection order for: * Football and Men’s Basketball season tickets * Football and Basketball parking * Premium seating * Away and post-season game ticket allocation

In 2017, by giving 110%, stepping up to the next level, and/or by pledging multiple years to the Panther Athletic Club, you can help Georgia State Athletics build a Culture of Success in the classroom and in competition. To participate in the “Panther Up” bonus priority points program, please check the corresponding box on the 2017 PAC membership form. Be sure to also indicate how many years you would like to pledge out as well as your actual donation amount if stepping up to the next level or giving 110% of your 2016 gift. This opportunity for bonus points will only be around for a limited time. Don’t miss your chance season in Georgia State University Stadium!


Young Alumni PAC Membership Young Alumni PAC Membership Young alumni receiving an undergraduate or graduate degree from GSU within the last five years can become a member of the Panther Athletic Club for 50% off of the regular donation requirements while receiving the full benefits of their chosen level.The 50% reduction in annual giving levels can be used up to five years after graduation.

Highlights of Young Alumni Benefits * Upgraded football season tickets to the premium midfield section, access to the PAC football Pregame Hospitality Tailgate, joint membership in the Alumni Association and a full season parking pass with the purchase of season tickets for just a $50 PAC donation. (Normal minimum donation requirement: $100) * Access to purchase football club seats, reserved numbered football parking with the purchase of season tickets and an exclusive gift from the Athletic Director for just a $250 PAC donation. (Normal minimum donation requirement: $500) * Above listed benefits, access to the Panther Lounge, access to purchase a football suite, basketball parking with the purchase of season tickets and a pre-game field pass at home football games for just a $750 PAC donation. (Normal minimum donation requirement: $1,500)
