Working with the Golden Sunset crew on their nutrition program has been a pleasure. I hope you can make it in person to see this elite set of Red Angus bulls.

The cowherd utilizes a year round chelated mineral program that is balanced to the cow’s requirements and feed sources. This supports proper bull calf health and development from a young age. The bull development program is built to maximize forage utilization and gut health. All forages are sampled and analyzed to ensure quality feed sources are used. Once the calves are weaned, they are slowly transitioned to a TMR. The TMR is forage based and is designed to promote lean muscle growth, allowing the bulls to express their genetic potential. Rumen health is of upmost importance, which is why suitable protein sources and proper starch levels are fed to the bulls.
