Sale Day Information

• SIGHT UNSEEN PURCHASES If you are unable to attend the sale and wish representation, please let any of the sale staff know and they will be happy to assist you. For sight unseen purchases we guarantee satisfaction upon delivery.

• DELIVERY Golden Sunset will rebate $150/lot OR if you live over 150km away, will rebate $1/ loaded km/lot if taken home within 7 days of sale. We will start delivery 1 week after sale to central points in Western Canada. Transport of bulls not taken on scheduled delivery runs will be the buyers responsibility. For bulls headed to the Eastern provinces, the transport cost will be the responsibility of the buyer. Rebate for bull purchases only.

• USA DELIVERY Golden Sunset will assist in arrangements for the cattle to be shipped to wherever you are in the US, at the buyers cost. All bulls sold to the USA will be charged an additional $250/ bull to cover testing and border crossing cost. Payment for export cattle must be 50% prior to testing and the balance will be due prior to shipping.

• PAYMENT OPTIONS Payment is cash or cheque payable par at the sale location. The right of property shall not pass until settlement is made in full. Please call Kyle prior to the sale if you would like to make alternate arrangements.

• VIDEO ACTION This will be a video sale with no animals entering ring. All of the sale cattle will be available for viewing 3 days prior to sale at sale location or at the farm prior to that. View the catalog and videos of all animals on-line at: www.gs-ranch.ca • www.dlms.ca

• RIGHT TO SEMEN Golden Sunset reserves the right to collect semen at Golden Sunsets expense and the buyer’s convenience. Any semen collected will be for Golden Sunsets in herd use only, unless specified in the terms of a sale lot.

• HOOF TRIMMING No feet have been trimmed on any of the sale bulls.

• BULL WARRANTY All bulls are guaranteed breeders. All bulls are semen tested and vet inspected, and under a full herd health program. The standard CAA guarantee applies. We do not warranty against injury or illness after the sale, and encourage the use of insurance for that purpose. If the bulls are left at the farm, insurance is recommended. Golden Sunset will have replacement bulls on hand to cover your breeding season should you have any issue with your bull. Under no circumstances shall Golden Sunset be responsible for more than the purchase price of the said animal.

• PURCHASER’S RISK Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. In an effort to protect the buyer’s interest, we strongly recommend insuring the bulls. An insurance agent will be available sale day.

• ANNOUNCEMENTS Announcements from the auction block will take precedence over what is printed in the catalog

• LIABILITY The owners, their employees, sale staff, and representatives accept no responsibility for accidents or illnesses that may occur. Persons who attend, do so at their own risk.
