Chief Credit Risk Officer, Allegacy Federal Credit Union At Allegacy, Vannoy is responsible for the management, strategic planning, compliance, safety and soundness of the credit union’s $860-million-dollar loan portfolio, which includes both retail and commercial. He oversees operations for credit administration, retail lending and commercial activities. He joined Allegacy in July, 2015 with 23 years of financial experience, specializing in retail and commercial credit. Vannoy graduated Summa Cum Laude from Marietta College in Ohio with a Bachelor of the Arts in economics and finance, where he was also a McDonough Scholar. He is a 2009 graduate of Leadership Winston-Salem and also earned the prestigious Credit Risk Certification.

DR. CHANNELLE JAMES President & Executive Director, Community Ventures Inc.
Channelle D. James is a faculty member in the Bryan School of Business and Economics at UNCG. She also is the President and Executive Director of Community Ventures Inc. a nonprofit startup focused on creating social good in the City of Greensboro through entrepreneurship and social innovation. She publishes articles and book chapters based on her research in sustainable and social entrepreneurship, diversity, and community support of entrepreneurship for vulnerable communities. Channelle is a native of Asheville North Carolina where she developed an early interest in social change and community engagement. Channelle is also the producer of the Sustainable-E Podcast and an upcoming podcast titled “Hold My Purse While I Slay These Dragons,” where she challenges us to deeply examine how popular culture and society impacts our lives.
