Saturday, October 29, 2016 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. JoAnn Fogg Service Center Seniors, Ambassadors Cost: Free This series teams older Girl Scouts with women architects and engineers in a design contest to turn empty GS cookie boxes into free-standing themed structures. The program runs from orientation in October through the final build in the spring. Teams will set their own schedules and meet as often as needed to design and build their Cookie Box structure. Girls will develop critical thinking skills as they strengthen their team-building abilities. This is not a troop event.
February 10-12, 2017 Camp Bette Perot Seniors and Ambassadors Cost: $30 per person Join us at camp and learn to find your location in the woods during this unique nighttime adventure hunt. Girls in Science March, 2017 Seniors and Ambassadors Cost: TBD During this one day event presented by the Yale Club of Dallas, girls in grades 4-12 will learn about science careers through engaging hands on activities. Girls will work with and ask questions of professional women in science industries, and hear from women in science who are at the top of their field.
