DEAR NEIGHBOR,

Christmas is a season of hope and gratitude. As we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, we extend our heartfelt appreciation for your unwavering support and compassion.

Your generosity always practically demonstrates the tangible love of Christ and brings joy and warmth to the orphans, widows, and marginalized families of our community. This has allowed those who are struggling in our community to discover hope amidst hardship.

Thank you for spreading love in sharing with others May your kindness be rewarded bountifully with blessings, peace, and happiness always

On behalf of the children, vulnerable families, and wider community, we thank you for being a beacon of hope.

With love and appreciation,

Osborn Muyanja

Food Fund

Each school day, we provide meals for 1,500 children, students, and staff. Good nutrition is essential for learning, and while we grow some of our own food and buy in bulk to reduce costs, rising prices continue to challenge us. Your gift to the Food Fund helps us provide not only daily meals but also food bags for students during school breaks, like the two-month Christmas holiday. Additionally, we support neighboring grandmothers and seniors in our community Your contribution helps ensure no one goes hungry.

$50 | Food for 1 child for a month

$15 | Food for 1 child for a week

New Books

Uganda is shifting from rote memorization to hands-on, interactive learning an exciting change we ' ve long anticipated! To support this transformation, we need new textbooks and library books that give students the tools to explore, read, and research independently. Your gift will help provide essential resources for this new curriculum, empowering students to engage more deeply with their education.

Educate the Future Leaders of the World

Sponsor a Student

At Good Samaritan Ministries, we see each child as a beloved member of our family. By sponsoring a child, you provide not just food and education, but also medical care, uniforms, books, and a safe place to call home While some students contribute what they can whether through small donations, food from their family garden, or helping with school labor many have nothing to give Your sponsorship ensures that every child at GSM receives the support they need to attend school and build a brighter future. Thank you for making education possible for those who would otherwise go without

Livestock

To improve nutrition and generate income for the school, we ’ re raising chickens, goats, pigs, and milk cows. This livestock project serves as both a demonstration farm for our students and a resource for the local community, teaching sustainable farming practices. The animals provide vital protein for our students, while their manure enriches our garden soil, supporting healthier crops. Your gift helps expand this important initiative, benefiting both the school and the wider community.

Water & Irrigation

Our school owns 7 acres of garden land, but without reliable water, we ’ ve struggled to grow enough food Last year ’ s severe drought wiped out two planting seasons, and monsoon rains later washed away what little we were able to plant. Only the plots with access to water and irrigation have been successful. Your gift will help provide a sustainable water source for our fields, ensuring reliable crops for our students and community. Thank you for helping us grow.

Supporting Teachers Is Supporting Students

Sponsor a Teacher

Teachers are the heart of GSM Uganda Their unwavering dedication, sacrifice, and commitment to our students often for lower wages than they could earn elsewhere are what make our education exceptional By sponsoring a teacher, you ’ re supporting up to 60 children, helping them thrive in classrooms filled with new curriculum and high expectations. Teachers at GSM are not just educators; they are mentors, counselors, and role models who guide children’s lives Your gift helps us retain these extraordinary educators by providing livable wages and the support they deserve. Thank you for partnering with us to nurture the next generation of leaders.

Malaria Medication

Mosquitoes are a major threat at our schools, spreading malaria one of Africa’s leading causes of death. While bed nets provide some protection, mosquitoes don’t wait until bedtime to bite. For those without access to medication, malaria can be life-threatening Your donation to this fund will provide bed nets, education on prevention and treatment, and resources for fumigation to stop mosquito breeding. Help us protect students, staff, and families from this deadly disease.

Vocational Program

At our Transformation Center, we ’ re launching vocational training in sewing and hospitality services. This program provides valuable skills to both students and local community members through day and night classes. Funds are needed for building, equipment, and teachers Students are learning to sew reusable sanitary pads and school uniforms, while hospitality training equips them to serve guests visiting the area for ministry. Your support helps us empower the next generation with practical skills for a brighter future.
