XTASY SERIES
The Xtasy Series is super light, very sensitive, incredibly balanced, and has fast crisp actions. This is an ultra-high end series featuring Toray's latest Nano material and Fuji Torzite guides. The Xtasy Series is a “feel" series of rods. These are made for jigs, worms, and drop-shot styles of fishing. These rods will excel with deep water techniques where super sensitivity is required. There are fourteen models: five spinning and nine casting, each with their own unique serial number.

KADEN SERIES
The Kaden Series was introduced in 2021. These rods feature high modulus blanks, Fuji reel seats, Sea Guide's popular XO guides, Kevlar wrappings, and Portugal cork handles. The Kaden Series are all built on the spline and balanced. We introduced the Kaden Series with 14 models in the lineup: six full handle casting rods, four 7' split handle spinning rods, three full handle unique size crankbait models, and a full handle 7'6" Flippin Stick. The Kaden Series goes head to head with our super popular Sierra Series. Why the new Kaden Series? This is a combination of Gary playing with new materials and our customers asking for full handle casting rods with slightly faster actions. The Kaden Series was actually “fish tested" for several months by Dobyns customers. The feedback has been exceptional and Dobyns is happy to formally introduce a new series of rods.

KADEN TRAVEL RODS
The very popular Kaden Series is now available in travel rods! These three piece rods have the same features as the original Kaden Series but they are designed for the traveling angler. Features include high modulus blanks, Fuji reel seats, Sea Guide’s popular XO guides, Kevlar wrappings, Portugal cork handles on the casting and spinning rods and EVA handles on the swimbait rods. Custom made heavy duty hard case with a divided interior for added protection of each section. The case contains a custom buckle to easily attach it to a back pack or luggage. The Kaden Travel Series are all built on the spline and balanced. The Kaden Travel Series will start with 9 rods: three full handle casting rods, three 7’1” split handle spinning rods, a 6’10” crankbait model, and two full handle swimbait rods. This series includes some heavier action models designed for traveling to Mexico or Brazil.

SIERRA ULTRA FINESSE
The Sierra Ultra Finesse was built strictly due to angler request and a growing popularity of the Ultra-Light craze. Ultra–Light bass fishing has become very popular over the last few years. We have been asked, by our anglers, to bring back an Ultra-Light Finesse casting rod designed to throw baits as light as 1/16th oz (1.5g) and using 2-8lb line to target bass, panfish, crappie, and trout. These rods are very small in diameter, have an extra fast tip transitioning to a moderate action, and are an ultra-light rod.

SIERRA TROUT & PANFISH
This series was built strictly because of dealer and angler requests. Trout fishing in many parts of the country is huge, from mountain streams and rivers to many lakes. Crappie and bluegill are some of the most sought-after fish in the world today, and Panfish fishing is getting stronger every year. Many tournament circuits are turning to panfish events. Dobyns is excited to add these 12 models of trout and panfish rods to our popular Sierra Series. These models will range in lengths from 6'2" through 7'9" and will have both one-piece and two-piece models. These rods are very small in diameter and super lightweight.

The Colt Series was developed for budget-minded anglers that still demand a quality, balanced, and sensitive rod. These are technique specific rods. The Maverick Series is a high quality blank made with Mitsubishi materials. It is an all graphite, balanced, and sensitive series. The Maverick Series has come about due to requests from our dealers. Dobyns Rods is happy to announce the new Hyperlite Series with Josh Jones. Josh and Gary have become great friends. It didn’t take long for Josh to convince Gary that this series is something that is very much needed. With the new popularity of the forward facing sonar, he believes these rods are a must have for our crappie anglers. These longer rods let you put the bait right in front of the fish's face as you see it on the forward facing sonar. You are no longer fishing for a school of fish but for a single fish in that school. Josh has proven to be a master with the forward facing sonar, winning numerous crappie events including the American Crappie Trail Championship in 2020. In 2020 through the start of 2022, Josh has caught 5 fish turned into the Texas ShareLunker program weighing 15.40lb, 15.10lb, 14.79lb, 14.13lb, and 13.20lb!
Josh wanted a lighter, more balanced rod for this live scope technique. Most of the rods on the market are heavy and very tiring to hold all day long. The Hyperlite Series really addresses this problem making it a lighter, more sensitive, and balanced rod. These are available in the most popular lengths of 10-, 11-, 12-, and 14-feet. These are all 2 piece casting rods but many of the crappie pros will also put small spinning reels on them.

ERIC CAGLE
E.C. Special Series
Eric Cagle is one of the most well-known crappie guys in the South and guides 300+ days a year. He’s also a very accomplished tournament angler with many wins, including a National Championship. Eric’s been looking for a higher end spinning rod, as he predominately spin casts with his clients. Although he is very good with the long poles, his clients have a much better trip when they are casting to catch large crappie. Eric wants his clients to fish with a higher quality product and be able to feel the bite. Working with Eric, Gary has built a 6’ rod that will let anglers both cast and dockshoot and a 7’ spinning rod with 40 ton material.

MAVERICK COMBO SERIES
The Dobyns Maverick Combo is the result of numerous requests from our customers. The Maverick rod series will be paired with a matching Maverick reel, making it the first ever Dobyns combo. The MK 601SF can be paired with either a 2000 or 2500 spinning reel. Gary's recommendation for the MK 601SF is the 2000 spinning reel. The remaining 4 spinning rods will be paired with a 2500 reel. The 6 casting rods will be paired with a 7.2 gear ratio reel in either right or left hand retrieve.

MIKE BUCCA SERIES
Mike Bucca has been a long time staffer and close friend of Gary's since Dobyns Rods first started. Mike's love for swimbait fishing led him to start his own swimbait company back in 2007. He named his baits and company Bull Shad. These baits quickly filled a niche in the swimbait world. The Bull Shad baits range from 4" to 11" and are super popular with swimbait anglers today. Mike has wanted a special rod that'll throw all of his baits in the larger 6" to 11" sizes and now the Bull Shad rod has been made. It's a Mike Bucca signature series Bull Shad rod made to handle his popular larger baits. This rod has a unique length at 8'3" with a full 14" handle. This rod is called a fast action but it's on the slower side of fast, making it an excellent casting swimbait rod. The MB 836SB Bull Shad Special is sure to be a big hit in today's popular swimbait industry.

Sam Sobi is a very popular fishing personality with his own YouTube channel. Sam lives in the state of Minnesota and has fished his entire life. Sam fishes year around chasing bass as much as possible, but when the water freezes, he turns to ice fishing. He has a great talent to not only pattern and catch fish, but also with his second love, creating awesome videos where he shares his fishing experiences. Sam does a lot of spinning rod fishing, jig fishing, and he loves to flip. All three of these techniques are covered with his personal signature series of rods.
