It’s Your Camp—Love It!

After this week, you will be camp crazy. Count on activities like swimming, cooking over a fire, nature hikes, songs, skits, team sports, a challenge course, arts and crafts, and all-camp activities. There’s more! You will also work on skill-building badges, contribute to a summer camp project, and participate in the “Great Camp-A-Thon.” You don’t want to miss this camp journey!

Mavericks

Girls will participate in age level appropriate activities which may also include: canoeing, archery, low ropes course, high ropes course, the climbing tower, and the zip line. Please indicate which level she will be participating in on her registration form: Girl Scout Brownie, Junior, Cadette, Senior, or Ambassador. Each girl will participate with her own age level.

Are you ready to hit the trail? If you have attended one of the beginning horse camps (or have received permission from the outdoor program specialist), then this is the camp for you! You will sharpen your horse knowledge and improve your riding skills, as you spend time working and riding your horse in the arena. Finish out your horse-filled week on the trails of camp. There will be plenty of time to enjoy swimming, hiking and other camp activities too. Girls will earn the Outdoors Skill-Building badge respective to their Girl Scout level.

Just Chillin

Horse sessions place an emphasis on safety from the ground up; riding may be limited by a participant’s experience and comfort level, or weather conditions.

Camp is a great place for you and your new friends to chill out. Sunny days at the pool, crafts on the front porch, a little archery in the wood, laughs over lunch, songs and skits by firelight. You will also have the chance to choose other daily activities like canoeing, horseback riding, or hiking. Girls will earn the Energize Award component from the It’s Your Planet– Love It Journey.
