Looking back over the 2021 Girl Scout Cookie Program season and one thing comes to mind, well, maybe two: change and resilience. At Girl Scouts in the Heart of Pennsylvania, we pushed through season two of a global pandemic and we found creative and successful ways to hone, craft and find success in our entrepreneurial skills.

Janet Donovan

We broke charity-giving records and found enduring ways to reach our goals. Mostimportantly, the Girl Scout Cookie Program and its entrepreneurship pillar drive thedevelopment of five key business skills: business ethics, people skills, goal setting, business decision making and money management. The program has and stillprovides the comfort of tradition for customers and our Girl Scout Troops. Althoughlast year was filled with uncertainty, we endured, even thrived. We plan to exceedagain in 2022.

After two rather unpredictable seasons, we are ready for what the next CookieSeason has in store for us. Whether that is in-person sales, digital opportunities or amix of both, we will continue to keep our members, volunteers and cookie customerssafe. We are also very excited about our new Girl Scout Cookie: Adventurefuls. It’s ayummy combination of brownie and salted caramel flavors.

EBUDDE

INITIAL ORDER

Overview

Overview

You will be given eBudde permissions that allows you to assist Troop Cookie Chairs in your Service Unit. As deadlines approach, you will want to remind/assist your troops to get orders submitted.

You have two responsibilities as it relates to the Service Unit’s Initial Order:

Service Unit Cookie Chair Permissions From your Service Unit Dashboard you will have two different views: Service Unit Level and Troop Level.

Service Unit Level Select your Service Unit from the “Ser. Units” window to access the Service Unit permissions in eBudde. From here you can view all of the approved troops in your Service Unit, edit troop orders and rewards and submit Service Unit level product and rewards.

Troop Level To make edits for another troop, navigate to the “Troops” window from your Service Unit Dashboard. Select the troop to view the troop’s dashboard. Navigate to the appropriate tab to assist the troop.

• Submit Initial Cookie Order for the Service Unit • Submit Initial Reward Order for the Service Unit

Unsubmit A Troops Initial Order Once a troop submits their initial order, eBudde will lock them out of making additional edits. As the SUCC, you can unsubmit a troops initial order. Navigate to the Troop tab in eBudde and click “Unsub. Cookie Order”.

Submit Initial Cookie Order Before the eBudde Initial Order deadline, navigate to the “Initial Order” tab from your Service Unit Dashboard and click “Submit Order” to submit the initial orders for the troops in your Service Unit.

Submit Initial Reward Order Once the initial order is submitted for the Service Unit, navigate to the “Rewards” tab and select initial. Enter the shipping address for where you want the rewards delivered and click “Submit Rewards Order.”

Initial Order Deadlines • eBudde Initial Order deadline (TCC) 2/7 • eBudde Initial Order deadline (SUCC) 2/9 • Opt Out deadline 2/7

DELIVERY WEEK Overview Service Units will be assigned a delivery day and location to pick up the troop’s Initial Order. Delivery locations and schedules will be made available as soon as they are finalized by our delivery agents.

Delivery Time Sign Up Navigate to the “Delivery” tab in eBudde. Any troop that has not selected a pick up time will be listed to the right of the sign up sheet. Reach out to troops who have not signed up for a delivery time prior to the troop pick up day.

REWARDS Overview You will be responsible for sorting and distributing two categories of rewards: initial and final. A complete list of the girl rewards can be found on the girl order card. Highest level rewards and GO! Dough will be sent directly to the Girl Scout.

Count and Recount There will be a packing slip included with your shipment of the rewards. Before sorting, count and recount all the rewards to ensure you received the correct amount. You will have ONE WEEK to report any missing or damaged rewards to your VSC.

Troop Pick Up (Bubble) Sheets

Sort and Distribute

A Pick Up Sheet shows how many cases of each flavor a troop is to pick up for their initial order. This is a useful document to expedite the pick up process and can be used as a receipt once the Initial Order has been picked up by the troop. Contact your Volunteer Support Coordinator about printing Troop Pick Up Sheets for your Service Unit.

Once you have confirmed you have the correct amount of rewards, you can use the “Reward Reports” on the Rewards tab from your Service Unit Dashboard in eBudde to sort the rewards by troop.

Initial Order Rewards We recommend distributing Initial Order rewards to troops during delivery week.

Notify Troops After sorting the rewards by troop, contact the Troop Cookie Chairs to let them know when and where to pick up the rewards.
