Stephen is secretary of the Sir Arthur Sullivan Society and is one of the world's leading experts on Sullivan's music and the G&S repertoire. He is the ideal introducer to the history and background of the operas and this morning he takes a close look at HMS Pinafore and The Mikado - the first two new productions this season from the National Gilbert and Sullivan Opera Company. His presentation will include rare recordings from his unique collection.
