• This course orients researchers to the starting process for funding searches. Topics include locating funding sources, creating of letters of intent, communicating with POs, and constructing research briefs.

• This course introduces researchers to the "Quick Start" approach to beginning funding proposals through the Office of Research. In addition to a walk-through of the Quick Start survey, researchers will explore the Office of Research preparation and submission resources that are located on our website.

• This course addresses supplementary materials that might be included in the funding proposal process. External pieces and those that provide context for the ability to carry out a study such as data management, facilities, external evaluation, and contracts are introduced.
