Ready, Set, Action 6 day • $275 • week 3 It’s time to tell your story! Get ready for this amazing week of the visual arts! You will use whatever you can to re-tell your own story including camera, video, dance, song or the spoken word and put on a performance on the last day of camp. You’ll also play drama games, learn about set and costume design and learn some new dance moves. The Performing Arts IP

Wheel it 6 day • $275 • week 3 In addition to general camp activities, you’ll learn to throw a pot on the wheel, make a pinch pot, a coil pot, try some new sculpting techniques, glaze and fire several pieces, and try all of the tools in Willow’s ceramics studio. You’ll also try out woodworking, jewelry-making and weaving as you produce awesome works of art that will be showcased in the Willow Springs Art Gallery on the final day of camp! Artistic Crafts IP

Wheel It II 6 day • $275 • week 7 If you loved learning how to throw a pot on the wheel last summer in Wheel it I, you are ready for more! Meet a local artist who will teach you a new clay-working technique as well as offer some tips on how to start your career as an artist. You’ll also work on several more pieces to add to your collection! MUST HAVE TAKEN WHEEL IT. Visual Arts IP

The Jade Dragon: Martial Arts 4 day • $195 • week 8 6 day • $275 • week 2 Are you alert and aware? Willow Springs invites you on a journey of self discovery and challenge, where you will feel empowered to notice when a situation becomes dangerous and you will be tested by your counselors though several awareness activities. Come prepared to learn different styles of martial arts and self-defense and get a surprise visit by a local hero. Your Best Defense IP

camp mariapi Hold the Reins 4 day • $220 • week 1 or 8 New to camp? Want to learn about horses? This session is perfect for the older Girl Scout who wants to experience all that camp has to offer. You’ll enjoy two riding lessons learning about horse care and basic riding skills. You’ll also sample other camp activities like crafts, archery and cookout. Work on Maripai’s Horse Patch Program.

Saddle Up 6 day • $330 • week 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7 Whether you are new to horses or continuing on through our Equestrian programs, this session is for you. Learn the basics or continue to improve your riding technique in ring lessons. Take a trail ride, plus enjoy other camp activities like hiking and archery. Participate in four riding lessons, and work on Maripai’s Horse Patch Program.

There’s Fun in the Air! 6 Day • $275 • week 2 or 6 Take a deep breath, and follow your nose to camp! From the fresh scent of the pines to the aromatic herbs grown in our garden, Maripai is the perfect place to indulge in the senses and waft your way through several activities from the “Breathe” Journey! Take a scent hike, make your own lotion, help out in the herb garden and more! You’ll also get to experience many of camp’s general activities, including one horseback riding lesson.
