FREIGHTLINER JOE What’s good Freightliner Joe? Tell us how did you get your name & what inspired you to get into music?

I am a full-time trucker. A driver gave me the name while I was over the road long time ago. I love Freightliner trucks. Listening to my mom sing in church, and my uncle introduced me to rap music back in the early 80's

Growing up in Virginia then moving to Georgia. What would you say is different musically between the different states?

Its more opportunity for you to be discovered. And for me musically, this is where I need to be. I know people back home that would give anything to live here, where you can see the same stars in the mall or street, that you would get dressed up and pay an arm and a leg to

see!

At the age of 18, you signed a record deal. You stated that’s when you learned the game. What are some of the lessons you’ve learned being signed at an early age?

You have to have patience (still Working on that), Learn the biz so you can get the best out

of it. Be indie, you don't need a deal to see records.

Describe your style of music? Trap musik on the road!

What projects are you working on? Currently I'm promoting my 2 projects "I'm Tired and " Raw"

Who are some of the artist who influence you today?

Besides the artist who paved the way, there is one.Sean Paul of the YoungBloods. I heard his sound and I felt like he was talking to me.s/o @twowheelbuddy

You started up you own independent company (TRUCK STOP MUSIK GROUP). How was it formed and who are some of the people you are working with?

My Patna George Venable actually gave my the name. "You rap about Truck Driving" You make "" TruckStop Musik" no one has ever done it, "go for it" "give them you" I've done features with the Green boyz s/o boby Jae DuckHunter, MynxMusik(va)Kushkids(va) Gorilla Zoe(ATL)

What is your definition of Grynd?

What other ventures would you like to get into besides the music artist?

Grynd: Working relentlessly, and consistently

Owning my own Trucking Co. A Lil acting, my own radio show. TruckStopRadio

What’s going on Ant appreciate your time. Tell our readers where you’re from and what inspired you to get into the music business?

I was born in Detroit Michigan but my mom moved around a lot. In a way, I'm from the highway... I've always had a passion for instruments. When I was younger my dad made me learn how to play the trumpet. After a while I started learning piano but I stopped. I would say my dad would be my inspiration to make music...

Define your style of music?

My style of music is southern drawl with a little Texas twang.

What projects are you currently working on?

I have 2 tapes being worked on right now. Ones an EP; the other, a mixtape. EP's called Look What You Made Me Do and the mixtape is called Majik Muzik

Besides Pac & Biggie, I listened to a lot of Do Or Die. A whole lot. And Rick Ross. Ross's the reason I started using the deep was in my voice Rick Ross. Ross's the reason I started using the deep was in my voice more.

Hearing the same songs constantly drove you to write your own music. What is your definition of Grynd? What do you think about music now since you’ve been in the business? Just do it. Like Nike. Like no procrastinating. If ya gonna do something,

TILSA WRIGHT What’s going on Tilsa we appreciate you spending time with us. For those who don’t know, where are you from and what inspired you to become an author?

I was born in Kingston Jamaica West Indies however I migrated to the states and proudly love and live in Brooklyn New York.

Describe the kind of books you like to write? I love to write drama and suspense. Being from Brooklyn, NY, have you experienced any obstacles as an independent author? independent author? Brooklyn is a cultural melting pot and with that said and to be very honest no obstacles. My borough-mates hold me down. I mean small businesses, promoters, media outlets and fellow authors has given me tremendous support. However you used the word independent, and this word usually comes with no budget for an effective marketing campaign like authors with a huge publishing deal.

You’ve written multiple books and the most recent being “Lady in Red”. Without given the readers too much explain to use what the book is about?

The main character Keisha Lopez is facing challenges and has decided to put her street life behind for a more white chalk way of living. Her issues are relatable. Keisha’s voice echoes what most young ladies in the urban areas are faced with. Drugs, abusive and being labeled as bottom feeders with no positive outlook. Oppressive stigmatism is ruthless if you ask me.

Is there any part of your book that describes your own life experiences? If so, in what way?

I lived in the 90’s and Clarkson Avenue like Keisha Lopez and was introduce to the Orisha spiritual faith thanks to a handful of Trinidadians. However the rest of the storyline is creative writing using relatable issues.

You've been all around New York expanding you brand to multiple markets and gaining exposure for this latest release. What are some tips you can give to inspiring authors looking to promote their first book?

Place great emphasis on your core audience, give yourself time to connect with them and do study how to keep them engaged. Always keep your sub-audience in your focus and don’t be afraid to think outside the box when it comes to random marketing opportunities. Establish and maintain partnership with a handful of media outlets. Look around in your community and recognize who is doing what and building that bridge. Your resources on all levels are usually your best assets.

Tell us the process behind writing the book and what how you were able to publish it? My writing process is fun, intense and thrilling. A combination of many emotions as I mentally connect with the characters. Also I allocate long hours and at least 5 consecutive days to lay the foundation. As for the business process, after writing I commission someone who works independently to edit and at the same time have my graphic designer create my book cover. Naturally the legal requirement of copyrighting so as to project my intellectual property. Final stage is uploading my work and distribution outlet on both Amazon and Kindle. You see Amazon has a very easy and accessible selfpublishing online platform.

What is your definition of Grynd? My definition of Grynd, being consistent, maintain your vision through challenges and most importantly be innovating. What’s next for Tilsa Wright and “Lady in Red”?

There will be a part 2 and ultimately my long term focus is to produce Lady in Red on film.

Any Shout outs? Where can we find the book and you online? Shout out to HitSquadd Promotions, Heroes Headquarters, Brooklyn and all the boroughs. All who supported my work over the years. Mad love and respect. My book is available on Amazon and Kindle. I can be reached on all social media @tilsawright

What’s good Malc Money? Introduce yourself and tell us where you're from?

What's poppin this Malc Money an up and coming rap artist out of Tampa, Florida, the cross Fletcher area (the slums).

What's the music scene like in your city for independent hip-hop artists such as yourself?

I feel like the music scene is wide open. In Tampa, we don't have that one artist everyone is ready for their mixtape to drop or ridin & jammin all their music. I'm here to put in that push Tampa needs.

You recently released your project called 'I Want In', tell us the meaning behind the title & what can we expect to hear on this mixtape?

The meaning of the title comes from when I was in prison. I was writing a song in my cell and it was just the feeling when I got done, I was like 'I want in'. I feel like I got the hustle, the drive, and confidence to get in the game and I'm going to do that until I reach my destination.

What is your definition of Grynd? Grynd is time, putting in that work, don't nothing come to a sleeper but a dream. Every artist has a couple of people in the game they looked up to coming up. Who are these people for you and why?

Gucci Mane is one because the work that this man put in over the years is incredible. Lil Wayne is another because he took a record label put them on his back then evolved them and the industry.

Outside of music what are some things Malc Money enjoys doing? Blowin Gas, Playin 2k/ Madden, Getting Money, and Raising my Daughter What's next for Malc Money?

No where but UP!!! I'm working on a new project " Ain't No Sleep Bih" Coming 2017.

Any Shout outs? Where can we find you online? Shout to God first because without him nothing is possible. Shout out to my home girl Tampa Mystic & Mystics Ent., Shout out the whole Team Bigga Rankin, Tapehustlers, Spinrilla, Tampa Florida, Cross Fletcher, My Baby Mama, My Daughter, My Mama and everybody that's fuckin wit me the long way!!! MATT CHAMPION What’s good Matt? For those who don’t know tell us where you’re from & what motivated you to become a hip hop artist? motivated you to become a hip hop artist? Yo what’s good w ya, I’m Georgia born and raised. I grew up in West Metro Atlanta. What motivated me to become a hip-hop artist? That’s a good question. Since I was young I would write rhymes and sometimes freestyle, but as life continued it became more of a way out, a way to cope with life and all the problems that came with it. I began writing songs about events that had taken place in my life. All my emotions would come out through a pen and somehow would rhyme on a piece of paper. The amount of detail in each line would grasp your attention and have you feeling exactly what I was going through. It wasn’t till a couple years later I started writing songs like “Drinks On Me”, songs that would lift your spirits up, not focus so much on heartache but more of a celebration on life and all the blessings we receive. celebration on life and all the blessings we receive. Describe your style. What do you want your fans to hear when they listen to your music? Describe your style. What do you want your fans to hear when they listen to your music? I honestly have many different styles. These depend on where I want to take the listener and how I want them to feel. In some songs I have wrote, I want to bring joy and happiness to whoever is listening. In other songs I’m aiming to motivate and inspire the audience to do their absolute best at whatever life may throw at you. There are a few songs I write that just simply tell a story. A major factor in which style I go with is the production. I believe production is just as important as the lyrics. I see it like this; the lyrics tell you what’s going on, but the way the producer brings the beat together will captivate the feeling to the music. captivate the feeling to the music. What single are you currently pushing and where can we find it? What single are you currently pushing and where can we find it? I am currently pushing my newest single “Drinks On Me”. All you have to do is Google “Matt Champion Drinks On Me” and mostly everything will pop up. You can buy it pretty much everywhere that sells music; Apple, Google Play, Amazon etc. You can also listen to it on Soundcloud or on Tampa Mystic’s mixtape “Mystic Frequency 7” which is available on spinrilla. mixtape “Mystic Frequency 7” which is available on spinrilla. If you had the opportunity to work with any major artist who would you like to work with and why? If you had the opportunity to work with any major artist who would you like to work with and why? Given the opportunity it’d be dope to work with a number of different artists. I personally like the Atlanta based sound and vibes just because this is my home and Atlanta is where I grew up so of course I’m going to root for the home team. But honestly, when I said “My Dreams Are Worth As Far As The Eyes Can See” in #DrinksOnMe I meant that metaphorically and literally. I’d like to work with artists around the globe not just from my city. Like for instance one of my producers, he is from Ireland, and I believe he’s just downright nasty with the beats. You think he’s going one direction with the beat and then BOOM you have no idea what hit you. But back on topic yeah I’d like to work with other artists, nobody in general but if the vibe’s there then we makin music !! makin music !! What is your definition of Grynd? What is your definition of Grynd? My definition of “Grynd” is quite long and drawn out. Grynd is when you worked all week and the weekend comes and you work all weekend too. Grynd is having an insane amount ambition and drive to conquer any and all goals you have set. When you wake up in the morning and have caught a cold but still manage to make it into work, that’s Grynd. When you leave one job just to go to the next, that’s Grynd. Being an INDEPENDENT ARTIST but somehow manage to push your music across the globe, now that’s Grynding.. The hustler’s that never quit, the dreamer’s who keep dreamin, the artists who keep PUSHIN.. Now that, is Matt Champion’s Definition of Grynd. who keep PUSHIN.. Now that, is Matt Champion’s Definition of Grynd. Outside of music if there is one thing you would change in this world what would it be in why? Outside of music if there is one thing you would change in this world what would it be in why? FOOD. One thing I would change in this world if I could is to put food on everyone’s plate. I believe in looking out for others when they are in need. Sometimes people go through struggles they can’t really help and in order to keep a roof over their head they can’t put food on the table. If I could change one thing about the world that’s where I would start, the fight against hunger. change one thing about the world that’s where I would start, the fight against hunger. Any Shout outs? Where can we find you online? Any Shout outs? Where can we find you online? I’d like to shout out my mother of course for bringing me into this world. I’d like to shout out God who has always played a role in my life, one way or another. Next I’d like to shout out my bro @Logetem he’s the one who made the “Drinks On Me” beat. I’d also like to shout out my boy @TaeDizzle89 for keepin me in line and havin back no matter what. My last shout out goes out to Charlotte, North Carolina where my real brother _alejandroaguila lives, that man has had my back through thick and thin and will always be family till it all ends. SEERIOUS PENNY

What’s going on Seerious. Where are you from and what inspired you to get into the music business? What’s going on Seerious. Where are you from and what inspired you to get into the music business? First off, on behalf of Mack Drama Records and Mafia Gang Nation, I want to say Thank You for this interview! You're a beast and you're Grynd is crazy! So, it’s an honor to be a part of your movement! I'm from the Jacksonville Florida .... the Bang 'em .... the Durty Durty ..... Duvaaaaal County! I was literally born into this industry! My mother, father and uncle are the members of the 70's Funk group --- The Family Tree --- and brother is the Southern Outlaw (Capone Asiactic and J-Love back in the day), he's an original Outlaw (Outlaw Immortalz)! I grew up on the tail end of family's success, as a few years later my brother's success started to rise! So, I was able to witness a changing of the guards sort a speak ... From Old School to the New! I had a good upbringing .... I got to see and learn about Life and the Music Business early and Hands-on! The Good ... The Bad .... The Ugly .... For better or worse! Ha! I used to watch my mother, father, and uncle rehearse in the garage and watch my brother practice (in his group and solo) and I realized from an early age that being in this business, being on stage and making some kind of a difference, is what I wanted to do with my life .... PERIOD! Coming from a huge music background where your parents and siblings have been successful, do you find it easy to move in this business verses

someone who doesn’t have your back ground?

I wouldn't say that it's easy for me, cause nothing clear cut dry or easy in the music industry, but I will say I think that it's Easier! What I mean is that from a young age I witnessed and heard stories (good and bad) that helped shape my perspective about the business! You have to be aware! I LOVE THIS BUSINESS .... but if it'll eat you up and spit you out if you're not careful! Just so happened I learned about the business end of this before I learned anything else. What I tell people all the time is to take Nothing for granted and get Everything in writing! Alot of artist get caught up in making songs, performing and being seen, but if you're not watching your paper and don't learn about contracts, performance rights organizations, publishing, royalties, and CONTRACTS .... then you're always gonna come up short and probably Broke at the end of the day! Getting on stage is the "easy" part .... but if you really want to be a part of the music business .... YOU HAVE TO KNOW THE BUSINESS OF MUSIC! You hear so many horror stories about artists and groups from Rose Royce to the Whispers to New Edition to TLC to Joe Blow that had major success and sold a lot of records, did a lot of shows, then be in the news on some BANKRUPTCY shit! My father, my mother, and my brother have always stressed the importance of knowing the business of business and taking nothing for granted! I heard in a movie once. "I don't trust anyone but my mother, and I watch her like a hawk"! That's how you should approach the music industry. Talk to us about your new single “DA VILLE”. What is the concept and who produced it?

Da Ville is that ultimate hood song! It's directly about Jacksonville Florida .... the Bang'em ..... DUVAAAAAALLLL county. In the song, between me, my brother on the second verse and Holly Monroe on the hook and third verse I think we covered every hood in Da Ville. But the song is also about city love and appreciation. It's produced by a really dope producer out Chicago named Chysty. Anywhere that you feel at Peace, anywhere that you get support, anywhere you feel comfortable and get Love ..... that's your Ville! I'm from Da Ville, born and bred! I've been several places in my life, but to me, there is nowhere like my city and honestly, nowhere else I'd rather be! Just how Diddy always says that he's New York wherever, that's me, J'ville anywhere I go! My fit, my slang, my attitude, Everything, is Florida. I'm gon represent my Jaguars. Ya Digg is my confirmation statement and Know What I'm Tomm Bout is my signature! That's the concept of Da Ville ..... Being yourself, appreciating where you're from and showing love to the neighborhood or city that made you who you are. What’s next for Seerious Penny? I can presently be found on one of your Mixtape series, "Mystic Frequency 6"! We've just released Da Ville, our third single under the Mack Drama Records/Mafia Gang Nation imprint. Our object is to finish out the year with a Bang. We're expected to release the first complete project, "Business As Usual", around the end of November. I have some other mixtape situations that's brewin' right now. Hell, I might even jump on Mystic Frequency 7 with some unreleased tracks. Ha! The official mixtape from the label, "OMERTA (Mafia Code of Silence)" should be out by the time this article drops. My new project (Untitled) will probably drop sometime around February or March. I really attempt to stay constant .... to stay in people's face and my music in the eardrums.

Any Shout outs? Where can we find you online? Any Shout outs? Where can we find you online? I guess I'll end this interview the way that I began, giving big Thanks to you for having this interview, your support and the opportunity to be heard on your platform. A Biggups to my homeboy, the number one Shotta, Bigga Rankin for all he's done in my city, showing us that it can be done and being one of the first to push us forward. Salute to you both! I wanna Thank my mother and father for giving me a gift directly from them. I wanna give a shout out to my big brother, The Southern Outlaw, Kizmetceo, The Black John Lennon, (he loves all his names), for being that driving force behind me and even putting up with sporadic craziness at times. Thank You for your guidance. Man, big shout out to my label (Mack Drama Records), and my OG, OG Mack Drama, Thank You for welcoming me into your family, and believing in me! To all the DJ's, Promoters, and Club Owners that have ever given a chance to showcase my gift and let my voice be heard .... Thank you so much. To my city, Jacksonville Florida ..... I LOVE YA'LL ... Each and every one of you. Lastly, to all my fans, there's no way I can ever repay you for being so supportive of me and so patient with me. I PROMISE NOT TO LET YOU DOWN AND GIVE YOU THAT FIRE ON EVERY TRACK THAT I RELEASE. KNOW I'M TOMMM BOUT! patient with me. ERICK TANDY

What's good Erick Tandy? Tell us what inspired you to get into the music business?

I would have to say the fun and the love of it and the creativity and the free-spiritedness about the whole hip hop era when I was coming up listening to slick rick and 2pac and Biggie. It was always an escape.

Describe your music style what do you want your fans to hear when they listen to your music?

Well definitely I’m a lyricist more of a story teller a fable type rapper whereas I would love for my listeners to get the pros and cons of life, the actions, reactions, causes and effects like if you do this this gone happen and you do that that’s gonna happen. That’s what I try to give em something not so much educational but life lessons learned from me spittin my real-life experiences on a track

Talk to us about your debut album "Caddilac & A Dream

Hopkinsville a small city in Kentucky, what is the music scene like where you're f from?

If you ask me, I’ll say it’s come a long way as far as artist development and the quality of the music being put out and when I look to my left and look to my right I’m not by myself no more. It’s another 5 or 6 artists outta the city being 30 - 50 thousand people that's pushin that got a name in the region that’s on the brink that's just tryna bust through. With us being in a small town our city is still the gateway to a lot of major cities and a lot of major markets, we can tap into we just take advantage of that man, and we keep building until somebody crack

Who are some of the artist in the music industry you look up to?

Dead or alive I would say 2pac. I always looked up to 2pac, when I was growin up Master P was droppin tape after tape after tape I was lookin up to him... I fucked wit BG and the hot boys back then, but as far as now? I look up to nobody in the industry now...I’m already who I’m gonna be so I’m just takin that and runnin wit it

My first debut album man I put everything I had into that album from the recording to the mixing and mastering to the presentation also the highlight of the album is a song called Axl Rose which was a joint venture with Urban Hitchcock, produced by Johnathan Hay and Ajami. I also got a feature from SlaughterHouse member shady records artist Crooked, as well as The Reason and Truth Ali, Frida Dee it definitely was a big record and jumpoff for the project. Another highlight a of the album was feature from the one and only Ms Fleet Dj KY/TN Ms SCM awards MS Wenetworkwednesdays MS everything. Ms Echia.. definitely got her on the album she’s flexin and rappin and singin on a song. "New thang" make sure you check the album out its on iTunes Spotify all music streaming sites. It was voted album of the year at The Kentucky Urban Ent Awards. s/o to The Elitegiance and everyone who voted and we up for the SEA award for Album of the Year comin up in a

The first single we released as I said was AXL Rose.. then followed up with a quick visual for "Den a Muthafucka" then after that we followed with a dope visual for "Can’t Judge" and then hit em again with that "Trust That" and just last week we dropped the latest visual off the

Is there a single you plan on pushing once your project release or is the plan to release the full project?

album titled Bandanoia ft Lil Dame so we pushin What is your definition of Grynd?

My definition of grynd is the action behind it like you’ll hear people "talking" grynd grynd all day but it’s only a few that you gone see

GANGALEE

What's going on Ganga Lee? Introduce yourself to The Grynd Report and let us know how you got started in the music business?

Hello I am blessed to be here! I am GangaLee (pronounced Gong-a-Lee) I am a female MC Jamaican born, raised in the Bronx, NY I got started rhyming in New York on Various Mixtapes and later honed my skills when I went to college in Virginia.

Explain the music scene in your city for Independent artists?

Right now, I am in Tampa, Florida and I am relatively new to the area. But I will say this the indie scene out here is awesome so many venues that cater to the indie artist, but in addition to that Media, and Businesses in the area are also very supportive of the indie scene out here. So for me to be transplant to the area I love it!

Describe your music style. What do you want your fans to hear when they listen to your music?

Being a female in the music game, what are some of the pros and cons?

I am very experimental with my sound. Really it's whatever type of production is moving me on that particular day. But what I want my fans to hear when they listen to my music is inspiration, hope, I want my music to drive a feeling rather than drive an image if that makes any

The pros to being a female MC is when you go up to bat a lot of the male artist tend to sleep like "Oh she's a girl she not gonna say much" then I hit em BAM... lol. the cons are that is that there is not even enough female artist to appreciate variety in today's rap music. I always say we need at least 5 dope female MCs to even get our category back at the Grammy's

Tell us about your new single 'Deposits' and where can we find it?

What is your definition of Grynd?

sense. sense.

This single is so dope to me for many reasons. For starters, I wrote this about me this is really my story. I work hard and have been the underdog always in this game. But I will not stop and I believe my time is now. Yes I worked jobs I paid my dues did free shows etc but all my efforts are not in vain and that is what this song is about. It's called #Deposits and its will be released early on SPOTIFY on 10.28.16 to be exact, but it will be in all digital outlets on 11.11.16 and I mean all, iTunes, rhapsody, tidal, amazon, YouTube and more! Are you currently working on a project?

Yes #Deposits is the First Single off of the project but for now I will remain hush on the rest. But it in the meantime, please check out "FLOAT DEEPER" on Spotify and iTunes now. It is a track I did with Wizard and Konchis these producers out of the UK last year and the song is picking up momentum, so I want to show it some love also.

so we should support diversity and allow everyone to shine.

My definition of GRYND is to never give up. To stay true to your art form and all things will manifest. Never lose yourself but always makes efforts to make yourself better than you were yesterday.

Who are some artists that influence you in the music business past or present & why?

Jay-z for his longevity and Business Oriented way of thinking. Bob Marley for breaking barriers and creating a genre for his sound. I honestly have a laundry list but I will just say those 2 for now.

Any Shout out's? Where can we find you online?

Yes, shout out to DOE Records, Big Chuck, CollosalTV, Lady Jay, Tampa Mystic, and any and every one that supports the movement. Also, I would like to say salute to everyone on their GRYND it is out there for us so let’s go get it!

Clip MonStar What’s going on Clip? Introduce yourself and tell us where you're from? My name is Clip. Im CEO of Monstar Productions. I'm from Buford, Ga. The Nawfside of Atlanta. Born in Grady Hospital. (Atlanta, Ga)

For those who may not be familiar with your music how would you describe it? My music is like a dark, aggressive, lyrical, comical, theatrical, hype sound... I don't believe I sound like no other artist. Of course, I have all of my influences, but there is only one Clip Monstar. You gonna get punch lines, you're going to be entertained,

and you gonna get hype. it's right in your face type of music. You recently released your new single titled 'James Bond', tell us the meaning behind the song and where can we find it online?

You can find James Bond everywhere online, except YouTube at the moment... ITunes, Spotify, Tidal, Google Play, etc. Really, I was sitting on couch, had some firearms in my possession, at the time, money on the table, and I was definitely feeling fresh,,, so I was like "Boy I feel like James Bond right now" haha And went with it

Who we're some of the people you looked up to in Hip-Hop coming up and why?

Ludacris, Eminem, T.I, Cassidy were my main ones..Ludacris just so comical, his delivery and how he emphasizes words was just dope to me. He can transition his artist career into an acting career. All around entrepreneur, which I can't do nothing but respect. I would buy ppl music I don't like just so I can hear his verse on a feature track. So definitely Luda. can hear his verse on a feature track. So definitely Luda. Eminem just a beast with the word play and I don't believe no other artist can paint portraits with their music like he does... T.I,,, I grew up listening to him... Urban Legend didn't leave my car for years,, just a dope artist, I love "riding" music.. aggressive, tell you like it is ... And Cassidy.. he got bars for days.. definitely an inspiration... never know what he's fixing to say next.. and how he says it, is just raw.. I don't even have to listen to his music, I will just listen to him acapella and get hype ..

Talk to us about the MonStar movement, the meaning behind it and how it started? Monstar is a label with my own artist on it. Got started maybe 4 -5 years ago... I wanted to get out and get it on my own with dope artist. My brother told me, if I'm gonna do it, do it the right way... took me a minute to get business in order, we had major setbacks, and minor setbacks, just like any other business, but now, it's a movement that HAS to be respected in any aspect. What is your definition of Grynd? Even when u tired, you find a way to be productive What's next for Clip MonStar? My next mission, is Tour

Any Shout outs? Where can we find you online? Shout out to my family first!! And then of course the entire Monstar Family, my partner Dream, Jelani, Tampa Mystic, Star, everyone that genuinely helps me pave a way for me to get recognized on a major scale.

You can find me You can find me @Clip_monstar IG @Clip_monstar IG,, @Clip_Monstar TWITTER @Clip_Monstar TWITTER, , Clip Monstar FACEBOOK Clip Monstar FACEBOOK, , and shows all over YouTube, and shows all over YouTube, "Clip Monstar Live"

SIZZLIN SUNNY

What’s going on Sizzlin Sunny? What inspired you to get into the

Talk to us about where you are from and what the music scene is like

What it dooski? Quadruple salute to the Grynd Report. My inspiration came from my Pops. He always listened to the best of music like Michael Jackson and 2 Pac. He always told me I was a superstar and

I'm from Dallas, Texas a part of the city they call Pleasant Grove. Jungle West is my hood. The music scene is really picking up, but it's

You've spent some time in ATL, what's the music scene like there

What is the concept behind your single “Purpose” and who produced it?

music business?

to do and I always felt like I was different from the rest. versus your hometown for Indie artists?

Well I would say the opportunity is different. ATL has a lot of avenues and outlets that we don't have. They have lots of support, too.

there?

like we are still missing that key substance to take it to the next level.

The concept behind the single is basically sending the message to the world that we are here for a PURPOSE and everyone has a reason to be here. My purpose is PRODUCING-ULTIMATE-REAL-POSITIVEORIGINAL-SOUNDS-EVERYDAY. Gzee Beats, my in house broducer, is behind the production for this track

You’ve been working on your Life Show promo tour. What cities have

Not only is it a tour but it also Life Show Enterprise LLC. Tell us more

The Life Show Promo Tour is actually a college promo tour. I started in my state traveling to all the big college campuses such as Texas, Baylor, SMU, and TCU, just to name a few. The vibe has been real supportive. The response from the tour has been crazy, lots of love

Life Show Enterprise is my company/label. It represents me showing my life through my music. I am painting pictures with my music through

you been able to touch and what is the vibe like?

from people and I am definitely gaining new fans. What is your definition of Grynd?

My definition of Grynd is staying consistent and always on task to get ahead in life, never giving up. So if you know your PURPOSE in life there is a grynd to achieve that.

about your business?

visuals and social media.

When can we expect a full project release?

My EP will consist of 12 songs. I am not sure if I will release it later on this year or early next year. I am still indecisive on what to call it and which songs to put on there. Just know we cooking up and Sizzlin like a skillet.

Any Shout outs? Where Can we find you online?

First and foremost, I want to thank the man above. I would like to take the time to give a shout out to my momma (Audrey), my pops (Ed), my sister (Crystal), and Katie Elder along with the whole Life Show Enterprise team. Also, to my city Dallas, Texas and I cannot forget to send a shout out Ms. Tampa Mystic. She provides so many opportunity for independent artists and I appreciate her for all she does. JUICE MOB MARLEY

What’s going on Juice? What inspired you to get into the music business? I would say my biggest inspiration in this music business would have to be my brother Decory "Twisz" Gentry (RIP). He was special when it came to this music. I wanted to be just like him. I was Daniel Son he was Sensay!

Talk to us about the music scene in your city, what is it like? The music scene in my city is growing tremendously. There are a lot of artist from Paducah,Ky on the come up. Just a matter of grind. Describe in detail your style of music?

It’s really hard to categorize my music in a way. if this were a sport i would play every position out there know what I mean, but at the end of the day I would consider it in the Hip Hop/R&B/New Skool bracket. I don't know I just do my best to make good music in general

We read that your currently on YB music Goup. Tell us how you linked up with that team?

I’m an President/Artist of YB Music Group. A few years ago, I was going thru something with another label (Monopoly Records) that I was dealing with at the time, a lot of things were going sideways with the situation I was in, so me and a potna of mine started our own label YB (Young Bo$$) Music Group. When you got individuals, who see the same vision and the same dreams as you why not chase it together. Err body on my team a Boss.

What projects are you currently working on?

I currently just released my 5th Mixtape "Foreva" which is now available online. but I have so much material I just try to stay working

Everyone defines Grynd Differently. When you think Grynd what comes to your mind?

How I would define grynd hmmm.... is doing whatever you gotta do to get to the next level. whatever feeds your family, whatever you struggle may be. We grind to make a better way.

You’ve worked with artist like Young Dro, Big Kuntry, & Crime Mob to name a few. What about some of these artist makes you say I want to work with them?

Most of the time when I work with artist it’s because I like their music. but on the other hand, its usually other businesses ventures that we have going on like event promotions that would lead to us working together. Just depends I guess.

Any shout outs? Where can we find you online?

Yea lemme S/O My team YB, my supporters, the entire State of Kentucky and all the upcoming artist out there grindin, S/O Ms.Echia and the Fleet Djs, The Elitegence, S/O all my haters, S/O all my nigga doing time right now contain them calendars,nd most of all i wanna give a big S/O to God Almighty for allowing all of this to be possible.
