EXPANSION Outreach visits to established businesses in Vanderburgh County continued in Q2. A recent partnership with Purdue Extension’s Community Development group will help us target our BR&E outreach efforts more strategically.

$4.8M With assistance from the Growth Alliance, Washington Plaza, LLC was awarded 7-years Tax Phase-In for their real property investment of $4.8M.

MIXED USE DEVELOPMENT

WASHINGTON PLAZA MAY 2018 - Washington Plaza Evansville, LLC will rehab the former Schnucks building on Washington Avenue and Green River Road, converting the vacant facility to Medical and Professional offices, with the possibility of retail or restaurant space.

A Regional Pitch Qualifier will take place on July 26th at Innovation Pointe, beginning with 60-second elevator pitches from each company. Judges will then select finalists to present 5-minute pitches. One winner will receive a cash prize package & move on to the Venture Club of Indiana’s Innovation Showcase at inX3 in Indianapolis.
