Gregory Serdahl

Over time, Gregory Serdahl has developed a professional path shaped by consistency, service, and practical engagement across several fields. His work reflects a long-standing effort to balance creative structure, organizational leadership, and hands-on wellness practice. Rather than separating these disciplines, he integrated them, allowing experience in one area to inform and strengthen the others. Gregory’s career spans multiple decades and includes roles in nonprofit arts leadership as well as the creation and management of a national wellness company. Through these efforts, he has worked with professional athletes, institutional partners, and public figures. Each role required adaptability, but his focus remained steady: providing reliable service while maintaining professional standards and personal accountability. His academic background began at the University of California, Irvine, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theater between 1983 and 1986. The program emphasized collaboration, performance theory, and disciplined preparation. These principles later supported Gregory’s professional life by strengthening his communication skills and awareness of physical and interpersonal dynamics. During his studies, he was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, reflecting his commitment to academic engagement and thoughtful inquiry. An essential part of Gregory’s education included spending a year abroad at Bergen University in Oslo, Norway (1983-84). This experience introduced him to new cultural environments and perspectives. Living and studying internationally helped him develop adaptability and independence, lessons that continued to influence his approach to leadership and client relationships. After completing his education, Gregory entered the nonprofit arts sector and became artistic director of the Alisal Center for the Fine Arts. The organization served a primarily Hispanic migrant farmworker community by providing access to cultural and educational programming.
