THE SABBATH DAY

by Donald G. Rubie All life requires rest. Being awake gives way to sleep, the day must give way to the night , so must spring - the time of rebirth give way to summer - the time of verdant growth and so must autumn - the time of harvest give way to winter the time for rest.

As the earth replenishes itself, so must mankind.

The Sabbath was created for man to rest in the Lord, to replenish his spirit, to be taught at His feet. How then do we remember the Sabbath?

How do we even keep it holy?

The Bible reveals exactly how - read on to learn the truth.

herefore the children of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, to observe the Sabbath throughout their generations, [for] a perpetual covenant. It [is] a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

(Exodus 31:16-17)

We have studied the Sabbath Day in various articles (“Rest”, “Rest 2”, “Lord of the Sabbath”), and we did not find anything that had to be done on the Sabbath Day, until recently. We had focused extensively on the fact that the Sabbath Day, which is Saturday in our calendar, is the day of rest; which means our rest must be in the Lord Jesus Christ. When you are at rest then you cease from doing your own work and take on the work that the Lord calls you to do. This means that you are always operating on the Sabbath Day; that is, you are always at rest.

Recently, the Lord showed me that there are 2 kinds of rest, physical rest and spiritual rest. We focused on spiritual rest but neglected the physical rest, which is required for our body. Our body requires rest so that it can be refreshed. A body that does not get rest results in a soul that cannot fully rest in the Lord.

Why? Because of our spiritual and physical construction.

As we have shown before, mankind is made up of 3 parts; body, soul, spirit (1 Thessolonians 5:23). Notice that the soul sits between the spirit and the body. The soul being our weak part looks to the body or the spirit for strength. Outside of a relationship with God our spirit is essentially dead, offering no strength, so our soul looks to the body, which is naturally weak; for it is a vessel that can be easily broken. The enemy of our soul, satan, leads us into focusing on our flesh to destroy us and because he does not have a relationship with God (his lack of relationship with God means he cannot see nor understand the things of the Spirit, so he can only appeal to the flesh).

[The devil’s weakness is that he operates in the flesh, this is why his main weapon is fear; especially the fear of death.

Jesus took away death, so now the enemy has nothing but empty threats for those who don’t know the truth. The devil is a 2 time loser (he lost life and he lost death).]

The body is currently temporal, in that it does not have eternal life. After the resurrection we will once again have eternal bodies, which was God’s original design (death only showed up when sin occurred in the Garden of Eden).

“And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also [is] flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.” (Genesis 6:3) The body is used for work in the physical world; the spirit is used for work in the spiritual world; the soul does not work. The soul is who we are (mind, emotions, & heart); we think with our mind, feel with our emotions, and act with our heart. When we rest spiritually, we use the power of the Holy Spirit to do work in the spiritual world. When we rest physically, we stop working and allow the Lord to sustain us. The Sabbath Day was created to give mankind physical rest and soul refreshing (we need to rest physically so that our soul can be refreshed).

We sleep every night so that our physical body can repair itself after a day of work. Our soul is not refreshed and nourished from sleep because it is not physical, only a spirit that gives it strength can refresh and nourish it. The only Spirit that can strengthen the soul of mankind is the Spirit of the Living God; the Holy Spirit. There is no alternative, regardless of the multitude of religions, meditations, relaxations, exercises, etc.; the soul is not strengthened by these things, rather it’s lulled to sleep (via deception) while the devil steals, kills, and destroys it.

How is the soul nourished? By the knowledge and worship of

God the soul gets spiritual food to sustain it for the work to be done. Indeed, by following the truth of God the soul becomes wise (knowledge and understanding), which reduces the work required to get things done. So a wise soul spends time to learn of God and the things of God to make its life easier. Remember, the soul does not actually work, it directs the body and/or spirit to do work. Thus, God created 1 day of the week as the Sabbath Day to nourish the soul of mankind. It is a great folly [which we see in the Sunday only churches today) to not acknowledge the Sabbath Day established by the Lord and thus do what is prescribed on that day; namely being spiritually fed by the Lord (via His ministers and prophets)].

God created the Sabbath Day for man, and we need it to be at full rest in Him. “And he said unto them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath: Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the Sabbath.” (Mark 2:27-28) [When Jesus said the above scripture He was essentially telling His foes that He is God, because He is Lord of the Sabbath, which is the holy day of God. We can just see the hatred of Jesus by the Pharisees, who are so lifted up in pride that they could not see that the Spirit within the Man before them is God. he Lord spoke to me about the 10 commandments and asked me which commandment can we not do in the flesh. What He was saying is it ok to murder in the flesh as long as you don’t do it in the spirit (murder in the spirit is produced through anger)?

Or can you have sex with a married person as long as you don’t commit adultery in the spirit? Or can you steal in the flesh as long as you don’t steal in the spirit (whatever that is?). Or can you put a physical idol into your home as long as you don’t take leadership from sources other than God? The answer to the Lord is; “no we cannot disobey the 10 commandments in our flesh”. Thus, the laws of God are not put away, meaning that we no longer have to obey them. All the laws of God are still in force and apply to mankind forever. There is no ending of the God’s laws. The only thing that ended in the Old Covenant is the practices that we did in the flesh to approach God. (We will discuss this more later) Every one of the 10 commandments must be done in the spirit and in the flesh; indeed all of God’s laws must be done in the spirit and in the flesh. In fact, it’s not possible to do something in the flesh unless you are first doing it in the spirit. Meaning you can’t murder someone unless you have already done it in the spirit through anger; you can’t commit adultery with a woman unless you have already lusted after her in your heart. So what about the Sabbath Day, the 4th commandment? Can you keep the Sabbath in your spirit and not keep it in your flesh? [Many in the churches that meet on Sunday only believe they can have the Sabbath Day on any day of the week. This is not true, for the Day was setup by God Himself as the 7 th day, thus it is not changeable by men.]

For hundreds of years most churches have put aside the Sabbath Day as a relic of the Old Covenant. The 7th Day Baptist in the 1600’s had service on the Sabbath, which was adopted by

the 7th Day Adventist around 200 years later. However, these churches tended to borrow from the Jewish custom and not a revelation from God (we are not saying that acknowledging and meeting on the Sabbath was not a revelation from God, we are talking about the actual practice that is done on the Sabbath).

The Sabbath Day is so important to God that He actually established it before He made the covenant with the children of Israel. We see this in Exodus 16 when the Lord fed the people with manna. The Lord provided manna for 6 days and told them to rest on the 7th day because it was a Sabbath, a holy day unto the Lord.

“And he said unto them, This [is that] which the LORD hath said, To morrow [is] the rest of the holy Sabbath unto the LORD: bake [that] which ye will bake [to day], and seethe that ye will seethe; and that which remaineth over lay up for you to be kept until the morning. And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein. And Moses said, Eat that to day; for to day [is] a Sabbath unto the LORD: to day ye shall not find it in the field. Six days ye shall gather it; but on the seventh day, [which is] the Sabbath, in it there shall be none.” (Exodus 16:23-26) With this kind of emphasis it is not wise for us to simply ignore the Sabbath Day as part of the past that we do not need to acknowledge or do something on. However, let us look at the commandment to spiritually discern how we are to treat the Sabbath Day; so that the Day does not control us, rather the Lord controls us.

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day [is] the Sabbath of the LORD thy God: [in it] thou shalt not do any

work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates: For [in] six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them [is], and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.” (Exodus 20:8-11) 1. Keep it Holy  Holy means separated unto God. So the day is not like every other day, it is dedicated unto the Lord 2. Six Days to Labour  Mankind laboured in the flesh in the Old Covenant; thus the covenant was with the soul of the children of Israel. Only Moses laboured in the Spirit, because he had a direct relationship with God, thus he was the intermediary. Later the priests became the intermediary, and they ministered unto God everyday, especially on the Sabbath because this is the day that they had to minster to all the people. A priest works everyday because he does the “Lord’s work”.  No one can be used as a substitute for you in your labour on the Sabbath Day. You cannot tell someone to do the work that you must do on the Sabbath, because work is still being done on your behalf.

3. Blessed and Hallowed  The Sabbath is blessed and separated unto the Lord.

It is not to be treated like every other day, and those who treat it as special will be blessed.

This is the promise that God gives to those who keep the Sabbath Day: “If thou turn away thy foot from the Sabbath, [from] doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding

thine own pleasure, nor speaking [thine own] words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken [it].” (Isaiah 58:13-14)

[Notice that the blessing that comes with keeping the Sabbath Day is great authority and abundance] Indeed, the Lord calls the Sabbath an eternal sign between Him and the children of Israel. It is like a wedding or engagement ring that a woman wears to show she is married. Marriage to the Lord is eternal. So the marriage is visible to all people via the keeping of the Sabbath Day. It is through this marriage that the people of God are blessed and placed in the high places (authority) on earth.

We keep the Sabbath Day by not doing our own work, nor causing anyone else to do our work, and resting in the Lord to be nourished by Him by congregating before His minister or prophet to learn about the Lord and His way. This rest is the rest of the soul.

“The LORD [is] my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.” (Psalm 23:1-3)

here is a legalistic evil spirit that looks for ways out of doing God’s commandments or adds mountains of layers to it to make it impossible to do. This evil spirit is present in every organization created by men, including governments, churches, religions, companies, etc.. There is a need for hierarchy to organize and govern, so that work can be empowered; however endless structures lead to a worship of the structure and the positions that are in the structure are not of God. When God came on earth as Jesus, He established 12 disciples and told them that they would sit on thrones judging the 12 tribes of Israel when His kingdom was established on earth (Matt 19:28). This means that they would sit under Jesus, in terms of authority, then the 12 tribes of Israel, then the nations of the world. All nations in the Kingdom of God will have their own governments, but all governments shall be under the 12 tribes. God’s government will proceed out of Jerusalem.

“Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, [in whom] my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment unto truth. He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth: and the isles shall wait for his law.” (Isaiah 42:1-4) [The task of a government is to execute justice and judgement for its people.]

Essentially, the Lord is doing the opposite of what Nimrod and his followers tried to do in building the tower of Babel. Nimrod wanted to establish a name for man; God shall establish His name as King of the Nations. The name that we shall call upon is our Lord Jesus Christ. The Babel builders were lifted up in pride,

thinking that they were so high and mighty that their brick tower and their ability to build meant that they could do away with God and operate on their own. Pride in leadership is a killer; for the Lord shall abase you and make you fall.

So even though Israel has a high position, they must accept it with humility and meekness before God; remembering that the position only lasts for as long as they stay humble. All people who the Lord puts in high positions must retain meekness to keep their position. Remember that one of the blessings that comes with keeping the Sabbath Day is a high position, as we stated above; however, if you let the position get to your head the Lord Himself will abase you before the people and make you fall. This is the challenge of today’s Jewish people; many shall not enter into the Kingdom of God, because they do not achieve the “higher righteousness” which is only available in the New Covenant through a direct relationship with their Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ.

What does this have to do with the Sabbath Day? When you have achieved the higher righteousness of the Sabbath Day then the high position is yours. Following the Sabbath practice of the Jews who are not in the New Covenant is not the higher righteousness; for if it was there would be no need for a New Covenant. It is only the Jew who has submitted his life to the New Covenant and has put away the practices that do not create righteousness can come into his rightful position. What I say for the Jew is also true for the Gentile.

[No wonder satan has hidden the Sabbath Day from the majority of the churches; he does not want to lose the lofty position he stole from mankind.]

“Come unto me, all [ye] that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me;

for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke [is] easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30) We wrote the article “Rest 2” on July 24, 2009 where we discussed the above scripture. Essentially, we stated that the Sabbath rest is a taking on the work that the Lord created us to do, by being led by Him everyday of the week. Thus, we were keeping the Sabbath if the work we did was what the Lord called us to do. I know this intimately because “everything” I do is what the Lord has called me to do, including the business I run and the ministry that I am to establish. What I do that makes money is related to the ministry that reaps the souls of mankind unto the Lord. There is no such thing as secular work; everything I do is God’s work. [This of course makes everything I do more difficult initially, because I must apply God’s principles to everything I do, and of course the devil hates me even more.

But the devil can go to hell; for I shall do the work of Him who sent me.]

While this is correct up to a point, it neglects the actual Sabbath Day and is not really rest. Rather, I was dealing with work; the work of the Lord, which must be done every day of the week.

Being led by the Holy Spirit means we don’t use rules that restrict our ability to do what the Lord says on any day of the week, including the Sabbath Day. Good must be done everyday.

Nonetheless, we cannot just ignore the Sabbath Day; for our soul requires rest.

Our spirit does work in the spiritual world. Through the Holy Spirit we are able to move literal mountains with our spirit. It is our spirit that facilitates the healing of the Holy Spirit when we pray, fast, and speak God’s word with authority. We can command devils to flee and call for the assistance of God’s Holy angels. Our spirit does all this through the application of faith,

which is relationship with the Living God. The deeper our relationship the greater our faith.

A spirit does not require sleep; indeed it can’t sleep, because it’s energy (intelligent energy; intelligence comes from the soul within the spirit). The energy of the spirit comes from God. The devil and his demons are spirits that feed off human spirits, thus taking power from us. Remember the power equation is: Power = Work/Time When the devil sucks away at our power he increases our work and takes away our time. He does this by increasing the time it takes to do work, also known as delay. Thus, we lose power, which is also reflected in the loss of money. This is why the Lord tells us to walk in wisdom to redeem the time (Eph 5:15-17).

Wisdom comes from God to reduce work, which gives us more time and more power, which is also reflected in the gain of money. [This is why Solomon was so rich, he used the wisdom God gave him and it naturally created wealth. All of God’s people are naturally wealthier because of greater wisdom.]

Notice that power comes to allow more work to be done in a shorter period of time, which is the same thing that money does, because money is power. Power is related to energy, which is what the spirit is made up of. The spirit being energy does not rest in the same way that the body and the soul rest, because energy must flow (work). We know this because everything physical is made up of energy. At the atomic level all we can see is energy that behaves certain ways; that is, there are laws that govern the activity of how different types of energy behaves. There are electrons that move around to bring energy in the form of electricity to our homes and businesses to cause work to be done by machines. [Electricity is just moving electrons.] Machines give us a greater ability to work. All this focus on work is because God created mankind to work, which is the first commandment He gave to humanity.

“So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.” (Genesis 1:27-28) Fruitfulness, multiplication, replenishment, and subduing, all require work to be done.

The spirit cannot stop moving because it is like God, who is a Spirit. The Holy Spirit is always in motion; this is why He is described as moving upon the face of the waters in Genesis 1:2.

One of the problems that scientists have with the Big Bang theory of Creation is they do not know where the energy came from that created everything. They believe that an energy particle exploded but they don’t know how the particle got energy in the first place. They keep running into one of the laws of physics (physical things); energy cannot be created or destroyed it can only be transformed or transferred. If this is true, and it is, then the energy that exists in everything comes from somewhere or something.

The energy of our spirit is intelligent. Spirits are intelligent beings because they have a soul. God is the Spirit that has all the energy, which He used to create everything through the Word that came from His Soul. Yet He is bigger than His creation and He exists inside and outside of it. When we work we transfer energy from ourselves to what we create. When God did the work of Creation He transferred energy from Himself into His creation; this is why everything physical and spiritual is made of energy. God just formed the energy the way He wanted and made laws to maintain the order He had established.

A spirit cannot stop working because it is energy; this includes God. Then how does God rest, as he did on the 7th day of Creation and how is our spirit suppose to rest?

The Lord rests because He passed on His earthly work to mankind, who uses His Spirit to do work. (We do not know what else the Lord is doing in the Cosmos; our focus is the earth, which He gave to us to govern.) Thus, God’s Spirit still works on earth but He Himself is not the initiator per se, rather mankind has access to His Spirit (power). What about mankind, how does man’s spirit rest? Man should not use his own spirit to do work; rather He should use the Holy Spirit to do the work that the Lord leads him to do. Remember the Sabbath Rest is to stop doing your own work. Yet, the Lord’s work is done everyday by His priests (those who are in relationship with God). A man who is in relationship with God is at rest because he is not doing his own work and he is not relying on his own spirit to do work. The Father leads the Son and the Son does the work of His Father using the Father’s Spirit. Thus, both Father and Son work and are at rest at the same time (restful work).

[Relationship with God as a priest (minister) begins at baptism into Jesus Christ, in His name. This makes us part of the Son (we take on His Spirit), so that we can call ourselves sons of God.] “The man departed, and told the Jews that it was Jesus, which had made him whole. And therefore did the Jews persecute Jesus, and sought to slay him, because he had done these things on the Sabbath day. But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the Sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God.” (John 5:15-18)

The rest of the spirit, which is different from the rest of the body and the soul, is resting in the work of the Lord. To keep the Sabbath Day at a higher righteousness, which is spiritual, requires that we stop doing our own work and take up the work that the Lord created us to do (our purpose). This work requires meekness and humility before the Lord to be careful to do whatever He says in the way He says to do it. Only then can you say you are truly at rest; yet at the same time we cannot forsake the 7th Day, which is the Sabbath Day, because this is the day that the soul gets to rest. If we forget the Sabbath Day our souls will not get the rest it needs according to the will of God. [Our soul will feel dragged around by our spirit, even though we are doing the Lord’s work, if we skip the Sabbath Rest. This is what the woman I thought the Lord had called me into marriage said to me even before we started to move towards marriage. There is a prophetic reason she said this, which we will reveal later.]

There are 3 levels of rest on the Sabbath Day: 1. The body rests by stopping physical work 2. The soul rests by getting fed and nourished by the Lord (through His ministers and prophets) through teaching 3. The spirit rests by resting in the work of the Lord, according to His will and His way. There is no secular and church work; all work is the Lord’s.

In our article “Rest 2”, which focused on Matthew 11:28-30 we stated: The words in the scripture above (Matthew 11:28-30) “and I will give you rest” used in the call of Jesus are the Greek words “kago anapauo hymas anapauo”. The word “anapauo” is the word that is translated as “rest” and it comes from the compound of 2 words; “ana”, which means “into the midst”, and “pauo”, which means

“to make to cease or desist”, or “pause”. So the word “rest” really says; “to bring into the midst ceasing” or “to bring a pause into the midst”.

The full meaning of the scripture is a little obscured by the translators of Greek to English. The Greek word for “and I” is “kago”, which means “and I”, “also I”, “in like manner I”. The Greek word “hymas” means “you”. When we reconstruct the scripture based on the meaning of the Greek words it says; “In like manner as I rest you rest” [the word “rest” is used twice as it is in the Greek]. This meaning is further reinforced by the next thing that the Lord says “Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart”. Essentially, the Lord says if you do as He does you shall “bring a pause into the midst” of your work.

Really the Lord is saying you will find rest in your work. Your work will not be hardship it will be joy (easy); for He will give you a work that is your purpose.

The way to get this “rest” in your work is to be meek and lowly of heart. A person who is meek is one who is humble before the Lord; as the Lord directs he follows. He does not look left nor right, his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord.

The Hebrew word for Sabbath is “shabbath” which comes from the root word “shabath”, which means “to cease”, “to desist”, “to rest”. To cease or desist is the same thing that the Lord says in Matt 11:28, which means that Jesus was saying “In like manner as I Sabbath you Sabbath”. The Lord is telling us that we must emulate Him. The way He kept the Sabbath when He came in the flesh is how we must keep the Sabbath. So what did Jesus do on the Sabbath Day? “And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read.” (Luke 4:16)

“And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the Sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught.” (Mark 1:21) “And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up [herself]. And when Jesus saw her, he called [her to him], and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.” (Luke 13:10-12) Jesus’ work while on earth was to teach and heal and He did this everyday; however, the word of God (the Bible) is very specific that He went to the synagogue (congregation) to teach on the Sabbath Day. On many of these occasions the Lord also healed, which made Him popular with the people but unpopular with the leadership, because healing is work. Nonetheless, the Sabbath is a day of congregating together, and sitting at Jesus’ feet (through His ministers and prophets). Studying the word of God together as a body of believers is our rest on the Sabbath Day. Then our soul will find the nourishment (wisdom) required for the work of our spirit. A wise soul is one who is at rest in Jesus Christ.

Here’s what the Lord said about Mary (Martha’s sister), the Sabbath keeper: “And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. the Lord will give us specifically on the Sabbath Day; should we sit (rest) at His feet. The Sabbath Day is an eternal Day; it will be with mankind forever; for at no time can we do without the wisdom of God, which He gives out abundantly on the Sabbath Day. [We will reveal the mystery of the first Day, which is Sunday in our calendar. The blessed Sabbath Day is the last day of the week, the 7th day. My God is the First and the Last (Rev 1:11).

Let him who has ears hear what the Lord is saying to the churches.] “Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. In our article, “The 144,000”, the Lord revealed to us the mystery of the 8th day. The 8th day is the day after the 7th day, which sounds obvious but it is not because it is a truth that has been lost to the Church for almost 2000 years.

In the 144,000 article the Lord showed us how He sanctified the Levitical priesthood in the “days” He made the Levites priests over Israel. Here are the highlights (Leviticus 8 & 9): 1. The priests were washed with water.

2. New clothing were placed on them 3. Anointing oil was placed on Aaron, the high priest 4. The sin offering was sacrificed 5. The blood of the ram of consecration was applied to Aaron’s right ear, right thumb, and right big toe 6. Aaron and the priests waited 7 days and 7 nights at the door of the tabernacle 7. The people gathered for the 8th day because Moses announced that the Lord would appear on that day 8. On the 8th day, a bullock was sacrificed, a wave offering of the breast and right shoulder was presented to the Lord, Aaron lifted his hands and blessed the people, fire came down from heaven and consumed the sacrifice on the altar, all the people shouted and fell on their face The things that were done in the Old Covenant are a shadow of what is done in the New Covenant, spiritually. The Old Covenant is of the flesh, but the better New Covenant is of the Spirit. In the above process the Lord is revealing something great about

how He operates, which we should use to order our lives to please Him. We will go into greater detail later to explain the 7 th Day (Sabbath) and the 8th Day in the above process; however, first we want to look at “time�.

hat exactly is time? Let us first look at the dictionary definition: –noun 1. the system of those sequential relations that any event has to any other, as past, present, or future; indefinite and continuous duration regarded as that in which events succeed one another.

2. duration regarded as belonging to the present life as distinct from the life to come or from eternity; finite duration.

3. ( sometimes initial capital letter ) a system or method of measuring or reckoning the passage of time: mean time; apparent time; Greenwich Time.

4. a limited period or interval, as between two successive events: a long time.

5. a particular period considered as distinct from other periods: Youth is the best time of life.

So time can be seen as a measurement of the interval between two events or a period of events. Time is linked to events. No event and no time. All events create a change, so time is linked to change. No change and no time. Thus time has a starting point and in theory would also have an ending point.

Before time began there could have only been 1 state; “something” (physical) or Someone (non physical). [The reason we put Someone in uppercase is because that Person would have to be a Supreme Being, that is God]. Scientists who do not believe in God think there was “something”, a singular particle that contained all the energy that we now see in the universe.

The only other state is God (Someone). You can’t have both “something” and Someone, because everything is made from energy. Energy, as we will explain later cannot be created or destroyed, only transferred. So the “something” or the Someone would have to have all the energy to create the universe; that is, the source of the energy of the universe either comes from “something” or Someone.

If there were two sources of energy then the universe would not run in perfect harmony because 2 independent sources of energy cannot co-exist without something or Someone controlling them (you cannot serve 2 masters). If we bring in a third entity then our original state of time related to events would mean that time already started because some event occurred to have these three entities in the universe. So to avoid circular thinking (imaginative thinking), which is what scientists (and the proud) do when they don’t understand something, we must stick to the original statement that before time there could only be a “something” (physical) or a Someone (non physical), not both.

[By the way, if you had 3 entities at the beginning of the universe then one of them would have to be God. The one controlling the other 2 energy sources is the Supreme Being.]

The theory of creation according to scientists is that the singular particle (the something) that existed in and of itself exploded in what is called The Big Bang theory. Of course no one can explain how the singular particle came into being, since it’s only energy, and a proven law of energy states that energy cannot be created or destroyed. So really what these scientists want to tell you is that you must take their word and have faith in them, even though they were not there when this particle exploded, nor can they explain its existence. Of course scientists will say the same thing to those who believe in God, that we must take the word of men from the Bible and have faith to believe in God’s existence.

[Thankfully, the Lord is not just revealed from the Bible alone, but also in direct experience; for He does not leave Himself without a physical witness. Indeed, as we will show you, all the science of scientists is leading to one conclusion; the existence of a Living God.]

Recently, the Lord revealed another major problem with the science of a God-less creation; laws. Everything occurs through laws. Scientists look for laws that explain things, including how an exploding particle could lead to the creation of all things.

Without a law nothing happens by itself. Here’s the dictionary definition of law: –noun 1. the principles and regulations established in a community by some authority and applicable to its people, whether in the form of legislation or of custom and policies recognized and enforced by judicial decision.

2. any written or positive rule or collection of rules prescribed under the authority of the state or nation, as by the people in its constitution. Compare bylaw, statute law.

3. the controlling influence of such rules; the condition of society brought about by their observance: maintaining law and order.

4. a system or collection of such rules.

5. the department of knowledge concerned with these rules; jurisprudence: to study law.

6. the body of such rules concerned with a particular subject or derived from a particular source: commercial law.

7. an act of the supreme legislative body of a state or nation, as distinguished from the constitution.

8. the principles applied in the courts of common law, as distinguished from equity.

9. the profession that deals with law and legal procedure: to practice law.

10. legal action; litigation: to go to law.

11. a person, group, or agency acting officially to enforce the law: The law arrived at the scene soon after the alarm went off.

12. any rule or injunction that must be obeyed: Having a nourishing breakfast was an absolute law in our household.

13. a rule or principle of proper conduct sanctioned by conscience, concepts of natural justice, or the will of a deity: a

14. a rule or manner of behavior that is instinctive or spontaneous: the law of self-preservation.

15. (in philosophy, science, etc.) a. a statement of a relation or sequence of phenomena invariable under the same conditions. b. a mathematical rule.

16. a principle based on the predictable consequences of an act, condition, etc.: the law of supply and demand.

17. a rule, principle, or convention regarded as governing the structure or the relationship of an element in the structure of something, as of a language or work of art: the laws of playwriting; the laws of grammar.

18. a commandment or a revelation from god.

In essence, a law is a rule created by an authority that governs the action of something. In the case of science, scientists look for the physical laws that govern physical things (physics).

Nuclear physics look at laws that govern the behaviour of atomic particles, such as electrons, neutrons, and all the other “ons”, which are really energy particles (we can’t see them because they are so small but they behave certain ways). What scientists really want to know are the laws that govern the behaviour of these energy particles so that they could understand how to “make things happen” at this level. Scientists know how to “blow things up real good”, but they have difficulty in predicting behaviour because they do not know the laws that govern behaviour. [They blow things up to see how things behave].

There is a law that scientists have discovered called the conservation of energy, which states that energy is not created nor destroyed it is only converted. This law is directly related to the law that Albert Einstein discovered called the conservation of mass (weight) because mass and energy are directly related

[E (energy) = mass (weight) x c (the speed of light)2]. Never mind the math, just know that the total weight of an object is equal to its total energy. This is why when you want to lose weight it must be “burnt off” through exercise and/or eating less food.

[Never forget that everything is made from energy. God’s Spirit is made up of some kind of Pure Energy for all things physical and spiritual are made by His Spirit.]

The law of the conservation of energy means that those who believe in a God-less creation must accept that the original “something” (which is just energy) contained all the energy that we now see in the universe. Also, you would have to believe that all the laws that govern everything existed in the original “something”. Of course, a law existing by chance to govern something that does not exist does not make sense, because a law is created to govern a thing that exists. We also know that energy is not intelligent, that is, it cannot create laws. Energy cannot create, but laws could cause change, which could in theory lead to creation.

When an intelligent person creates something he/she first plans out what it will do, and may create rules to govern the thing that is being created. Rules (laws) are created so that predictable results from the created thing will always occur; the created has limits to its behaviour. The only reason a rule would not be created in the planning process is if a rule already exists (previously created) that will govern the newly created thing.

Laws by definition are created, and they are created to control the behaviour of the creation. Only an intelligent person can create a law, because laws govern behaviour. To create a law you must know how you want the thing to behave, which means you have intelligence. We live in a universe governed by physical laws. Non-physical laws also exist, though many scientists don’t believe in them.

[Energy is not intelligent, it operates by laws.]

It is very easy to explain a universe created by Someone (God) as opposed to something. First of all, creation implies work is done to form things. In the forming of things, energy is transferred from the Person to the something that is created. All things are just “formed energy”, like clay is formed into various objects. No energy is created in God’s creation; it is just transferred from Him through the work of His hands. Thus, the law of the conversation of energy is not violated. Secondly, the laws that govern the created things are created by God, who is supremely intelligent, so He works from His plan and ensures that His physical creation has limits and bounds in their behaviour.

To believe that “something” led to the creation of the universe means you must first believe that an energy particle existed in space. This may not be a stretch for some people, but to think that a dumb particle, which cannot create, is the beginning of creation, a leap of faith in flawed men is required for a thinking person. Of course, that means you actually believe in 2 things; the energy particle and space. What is space? An empty void that housed the energy particle, according to scientists; because the particle has to blow up in something and make a Big Bang.

Notice that we are now in the realm of circular reasoning. If you want to start off with one thing, you would have to start off with space, which by definition has no energy (in the beginning, according to scientists). Then you would have to believe that energy just appeared spontaneously, which violates the law of the conservation of energy. Then, you would have to believe that the laws that govern physical things appeared spontaneously before the physical thing appeared, randomly.

This violates the definition of a law.

Of course you would also have to believe that this energy

particle blew up for unknown reasons, since there were no laws governing its behaviour. Today, scientists know how to blow things up, but there are laws that govern the blowing up of stuff, even at the atomic level. A recent book by physicist Stephen Hawkings, called The Grand Design, supports a God-less creation, which interestingly means that there was no design because only intelligent beings can design. Since, according to Hawkings, there was no designer then there could not have been any laws, so really nothing could have happened.

The conclusion of the whole matter is that without the Living God nothing could exist; for in reality only God exists, everything else is created. Let me repeat; Only God exists, everything else is created by Him. This is the truth and no science can ever deny it.

[It’s interesting that science in its effort to disprove God is actually proving His existence. They are painting themselves into a corner that they cannot get out of; the only intelligent explanation for Creation is God.] There is a phenomenon that scientists use to “prove” that the Big Bang occurred called the cosmic background radiation (CBR), which is a “noise” that can be detected equally everywhere it is measured in the dark areas of the universe, which we call space. The “noise” is a thermal radiation that is measured most strongly in the microwave region of the radio spectrum (thus it’s called a noise). Thus, it is also called the cosmic microwave background radiation (for some reason every time I type “cosmic” I misspell it as “comic”).

The CBR was discovered in 1964 accidentally but was being sought for by some scientists, because if a Big Bang had occurred then some “noise” from it would have been produced, which would still be present in the universe. Also, this “noise” would be uniform throughout the universe and it would not be

coming from any source. When the CBR was discovered these scientists stated that they had found their proof of the Big Bang.

No other explanation was produced.

Recently, the Lord brought back to my memory a dream I had many years ago about 3 things that to me had no relationship. In the dream I saw a large speaker (like the ones you see at parties and nightclubs), and then I saw the ashes of a fire, and then the person in the dream pointed to the ashes said to me “noise”, like he was proclaiming some great thing. This happened at least twice in the dream. I deduced then that the music from these parties was “noise”, which I can now see would lead to destruction based on the ashes of the fire.

A fire is the rapid oxidation (breakdown through combination with oxygen) of a material through a process called combustion, which releases (radiates) heat, light, and gases. The combustion (burning) process also releases noise, which are electromagnetic waves in the radio spectrum. In most cases you can see, hear, and smell a fire (tasting and touching are not recommended!).

Process generates noise through the friction (things touching each other) that is occurring in the process. All process is work being done on something to change it in some way (which can be positive or negative). The process of a fire is to reduce the thing into ashes; utterly destroy it. Of course, other processes are used to build and refine things.

The engines that create motion to move our cars are called internal combustion engines. They burn a fuel that leads to motion within the engine, which is connected to the wheels of the car to make it move. Inside a car engine is a very hot fire.

Motion also creates noise through friction. Work creates motion, but not all motion is necessarily work (at least not work that we can detect yet). All things are in motion, because

everything is made up of energy (energy flows). This why God’s Spirit is described as moving upon the face of the waters before God speaks.

“And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.” (Genesis 1:2) I wrote an article in 2006 called “PUSH” about the universe being in an “energy liquid”, which is within a closed environment (a fish bowl). The same way that fish live inside of liquid water, we also live inside gaseous water (vapour) and the universe is inside an “energy water”. Thus, the Spirit of God moves upon the face of all these waters. There is water above the earth, in the heavens, and below the heavens in the earth (Gen 1:6-8).

Those who are trying to understand creation from God should also be looking to hear a sound in the universe from the motion of the energy (water) throughout the universe. The same way the waves of the sea make a noise. While the scientist will hear the CBR, which to him is proof of a Big Bang; the believer will hear the sound of the waters above the earth (in the heavens).

All people must expect to hear something; noise to the scientist and music to the believer. The music of the universe is a praise to the Almighty God, the Creator of the universe.

“Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the LORD from the heavens: praise him in the heights. Praise ye him, all his angels: praise ye him, all his hosts. Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light. Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that [be] above the heavens. Let them praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created. He hath also stablished them for ever and ever: he hath made a decree which shall not pass.” (Psalm 148:1-6) Notice that the Lord made a law (decree) that the universe is

eternal, it shall never be destroyed, regardless of what puny scientists think.

[I guess the cosmic joke (comic) that the Lord has played on these Big Bang scientists (big bangers) is that the “noise” of the universe is music to God’s ears. In a way, to believe that the universe was created by a piece of dumb dirt you would have to be “galaxy-ally” stupid (pun intended).]

We did not go through all of the above to physically prove God’s existence, though it should shatter the thoughts of a God-less beginning. We haven’t even touched the elegant, beautiful code of life called DNA. The DNA code and the biological laws that govern it are of such intelligence that only a fool could believe that a “luck of the draw” process of evolution could produce it.

Everything about life is clearly the design of the All knowing, Almighty God, including the living earth.

The earth is an “engine” that sustains life. It has certain laws that govern its existence and certain substances within it (e.g. oil) which facilitates its inward motion (just like a car engine). This is why we have shown before that removing the oil from the earth leads to earthquakes, because the oil is put there by God to facilitate the motion of the earth’s crust. If the fools who are feverishly pumping out all the oil from the ground knew what was going to happen to their wealth and their countries they would pump a little slower and worry a lot more. In one day all these oil pumping nations shall fall (sink).

We went through the above to reveal that time has a beginning and that it does not actually cause anything to happen.

Scientists rely on time to “prove” their points because with billions of years it’s possible for anything to happen. But in realty it does not matter how much time exists if no law or person exist to create laws and do work. Time does not create laws, it only

records events. Scientists believe that the universe is around 14 billion years old, according to their Big Bang calculations.

However, it could be 500 billion or 100 trillion years old because it does not matter; all that matters is laws and work, which implies a Creator. A stone is a stone today and 100 trillion years from now it will still be a stone if there is nothing that causes it to change. Only laws and work cause change.

[Working within God’s laws is all that really matters; everything else is a waste of time.]

God is a constant. He does not change; indeed He cannot change. If He could change then He would not be God. God by definition is eternal and changeless. God cannot change but He can cause change, and thus time.

e spoke about time in that it has a beginning in God, from a creative perspective; for before God created time did not exist.

Time does not exist in God; rather He is the initiator of time. The power equation of time is Time = Work/Power. This means that the more power you have the less time it take to do work. God has infinite power, which means He can do infinite work in almost no time.

Time = Infinite Work/Infinite Power = 1 So the thing we must pay attention to is not time, per se, but rather work; what is done and how it is done (God’s work within God’s laws). The work of God will always be done in a shorter period of time because of the amount of power available to do work. For example, the Creation account in the Bible speaks of only 6 days that God created everything, and then He rested on the 7th Day. There are a lot of debates about the length of the Creation day from our finite human perspective. But the reality is it does not really matter. In fact, we know that the Creation days are not measured the same way that the days of the week are measured. How? God created our means of time measurement on the 4th day of Creation.

“And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: [he made] the stars also. And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that [it was] good. And the evening and the morning were the fourth day.” (Genesis 1:1419)

On the 4th day God created the stars in the heavens including the sun and the moon, which is what we use to measure time; because that is what they were created for. The sun comes out in the day and defines when we work, and the moon comes out at night and defines when we sleep. The Jews measure a day the same way that God does, from evening to morning; 12 hours of night and then 12 hours of day.

A lot of time is wasted on endless debates about how long it took God to create something because in the final analysis it does not add anything to our purpose here on earth, which is to do the work that we were created to do. The thing we must look to God for is what we must do and how we must do it. Then with access to His power we will be able to do great works that please Him. It is more important to understand the order of creation than the time of creation, because the order will teach us how to work like our Father.

Just to remind you, that this booklet is about the Sabbath Day, which is the 4th commandment of the 10 commandments. This is the reason we are spending so much time on discussing “time”. The number 4 is God’s number of global or world; while the number 10 is God’s number of order and abundance. God does everything in order; step 1, step 2, step 3, etc.. The Lord is systematic. Systems are produced from order and create abundance.

Countries with systems are more developed than countries without systems. The more computer technology that is in place creates greater abundance for the country or the company.

Without systems then chaos rules and poverty increases. Also, as technology changes then systems must be upgraded to take advantage of greater productivity and increase in better technology. Companies who stay with old technology are often taken over by companies with newer technology because of the

spiritual principal of greater order leads to greater abundance.

This explains the abundance of the Jewish people.

The Jews have for thousands of years operated in God’s order, which they systematically pass on to their children as they have been directed by God. Of course they have not been perfect in this, nor can they be expected to be in their flesh, but because of God’s covenant with them and their attempt to keep the commandments of God they are more abundant than all other people on earth. Wealth flows to Jewish people because of their position with God, and they try in their flesh to operate under God’s commandments. Of course if you are in a high position you are expected to operate a certain way, or you will come under greater judgement.

Our Lord Jesus Christ came to His people to bring them into a New Covenant, not one of the flesh like the Old Covenant, but rather one of the Spirit (God dwelling in them).

“Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day [that] I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.” (Jeremiah 31:31-34)

“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do [them]. And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.” (Ezekiel 36:26-28) The highlight of the New Covenant is the Spirit of God living inside the believer to cause him to walk in (do) the laws of God. When a person walks in God’s laws then He starts to operate the way God operates, which leads to great authority and power (physically and spiritually). Physical power includes wealth. So the New Covenant is established first with the Jew and also with the Gentile.

[The other day the Lord brought to my awareness that there are 3 kinds of people in the world (coming from the 3 sons of Noah); Jews (Shem), Black (Ham), and White (Japheth) which conforms to the Soul of God. Jews represent God’s Heart, Black people represent God’s emotions, and White people represent God’s mind. By the way, the Lord rules with His heart, which is why the world will eventually be ruled by the Jews (spiritual Jews). All people who are baptized into Jesus Christ (in His Name) and live according to His word, through the Holy Spirit, are spiritual Jews (both Jews and Gentiles).

“For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye [be] Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.” (Galatians 3:27-29) In the book of Acts, the 3 types of people are baptized in this

order; the Jews on the Day of Pentecost, the Ethiopian (black) eunuch, then the Roman (white) centurion and his household.

The Ethiopian was baptized in Acts 8 and his baptism was characterized by great joy and miraculous operation of the Holy Spirit; for when the Ethiopian was baptized he saw Philip (the one who baptized him) disappear before his eyes and he went home rejoicing. When the Roman centurion and his household were baptized in Acts 10 the Holy Spirit fell on them and they spoke in tongues and magnified (made big) God. Tongues are required to speak to the nations of the world; to the Jew first and also the Gentiles.

It is no coincidence that white people are the ones who God choose to spread the church throughout the world; for they represent the orderly systematic mind of God. Of course, the devil has had his way with the spreading of the gospel through white people by turning it into an institutionalized religion.

Systems are so entrenched in so-called white churches (e.g. roman catholic) that joy and life are sucked out of it. Yet they are large institutions because of the order by how they operate.

Order ALWAYS leads to abundance even if it’s orderly destruction, such as we saw in the death machine of Nazi Germany.

One of the things that characterize black churches is deep soulful singing, praise and spiritual manifestations. Indeed, entertainment is generally what occurs in many black churches, from the singing to the preaching. Why? Because black people are designed to be more emotional, this is meant to link people to the emotions of God leading to a zeal for God and the kingdom of God. However, when satan intervenes spirited black churches turn into entertainment for the masses, leading to an abundance of poverty.

The entertainment industry is responsible for more poverty in

the world than maybe anything else. T.V., movies, and music spread deceitful messages throughout the world to cause people to walk in flesh and fantasy, resulting in wasted time and wasted lives.

The true Church does not separate people according to race; She reaches out to all people according to the will of God, to bring them into their individual purpose and roles, to establish the kingdom of God. We certainly do not want anyone to judge people based on their skin colour, because Jews do not come in any one colour and all people (black and white) have equal ability to come into the true knowledge of God. Also, we must be careful to not put people into positions because of skin colour. For example, a person who has white skin does not mean he/she is right for leadership. A leader has many qualities including and especially the ability to connect to people emotionally. We must not lose sight that the first earthly king who operated with the charisma and order to build 8 cities, many of which still stand today, was the black Cushite named Nimrod, the mighty hunter before the Lord (Genesis 10:9-12).

In these latter days, we must be even as Nimrod in manifesting the kingdom of God. But we must not become lifted up in pride like Nimrod, who “fell” from the tower of Babel (confusion).]

The New Covenant is meant to be spread throughout the world; to the Jew first and also the Gentile. The Old Covenant that most Jewish people adhere to is old technology; it will get you from point A to point B, but it was not meant to establish the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is the “Promised Land” that the Church is called to manifest through spiritual warfare.

No institutionalized church or emotional church can establish God’s kingdom; only a Church that operates in the Holy Spirit in

the commandments of God shall rule the spiritual atmosphere to usher in the kingdom of God. The example that the Lord gave us of the Old Covenant vs. the New Covenant is like a person who uses a horse and buggy instead of a high speed motor vehicle to get work done. The works of the flesh cannot defeat the works of evil spirits.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places].” (Ephesians 6:12) The words “spiritual wickedness” can also be translated as “wicked spirits”. So the scripture is saying that “we fight (wrestle) against wicked spirits in high places”. Note that we wrestle and the aim of wrestling is not to kill the opponent, but rather to bring him into a submissive position beneath you with your hand upon his neck in a death grip. Wrestling is a skill with various techniques that must be taught. The more techniques you know and the more you know about your opponent the more often you will defeat him; resulting in him handing over his power to you. The devil has a stranglehold on the money, wealth, and souls of the world. The task of the Church is to make him give them up, quickly.

The devil sings the song “Time is on my side”; essentially snubbing his nose at the world and telling us that we are going to hell while he reigns on earth. He does this through a multitude of deceptions meant to keep mankind operating in the flesh. e stated earlier that God’s number of global or the world is the number 4, which coincides with the 4 th day of Creation and the 4th commandment (the Sabbath Day). Notice that both the 4th day of Creation and the Sabbath Day relates to time; time is measured through the creation of the stars on the 4 th day and the Sabbath Day is the 7th day of the week, which is the day we are to spend our time with God. To understand the relationship of the Sabbath Day with the world we must look at what we are to do on the Sabbath Day. Earlier we revealed that on the Sabbath Day we must be at rest and sit at Jesus’ feet, so that we may learn from Him. This means that we congregate together (go to Church) and study God’s word. Or on some occasions the Lord may call you to spend some time with Him alone so He may impart wisdom unto you. The Sabbath Day is a time established by God for His chosen people whose destiny is to righteously govern the world.

This time is needed and required to give those in the position of governance wisdom to judge righteously. We know this because of what the Lord says about a king established by Him. “When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that [are] about me; Thou shalt in any wise set [him] king over thee, whom the LORD thy God shall choose: [one] from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not set a stranger over thee, which [is] not thy brother….And it shall be, when he sitteth upon the throne of his kingdom, that he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of [that which is] before the priests the Levites: And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them: That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn

not aside from the commandment, [to] the right hand, or [to] the left: to the end that he may prolong [his] days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst of Israel.” (Deuteronomy 17:14-15, 18-20) The Jewish people keep the Sabbath Day in their flesh, when they operate based on traditions; which means, they cannot achieve the “higher righteousness” that the Lord requires to establish the kingdom of God. The true Church is the place of higher righteousness, where baptized believers operate in spiritual warfare against the evil spirits that inhabit our spiritual atmosphere.

The 7 Day Adventist church is a Christian denominational church who keeps the Sabbath Day and is very orderly in its teaching, which has caused them to spread successfully throughout the world. Systematic teaching is done on the Sabbath Day in the Adventist church, however something is missing, which is also missing in most “white” church groups; the manifestation and operation of the Holy Spirit.

[Once again, we are being careful when we say things like “white” people and “black” people. There are gifts that God gives people to reveal a certain aspect of Himself, as we noted before, which the devil perverts through deception.

White is visible, it is on the outside; black is invisible, it cannot be seen. The order and abundance of white people are a reflection of what we can see of God, His order and abundance. The hidden part of God, His joy and delight (righteous pleasure is what God is really about), cannot be seen, but are reflected by black people in rhythmic dancing and soulful singing (and emotional outbursts).]

The reason “white” churches (and governments) have existed for so long and completely dominate the earth is because of the

order and abundance that is part of white people. The reason that “black” churches have only started to flourish in the last 100 years is because emotions need to be mass communicated.

Radio, T.V, movies, Internet, are only about 100 years old. This is why the Lord manifested the Holy Spirit in the Azusa street revival in 1906, which was led by a black pastor, in Los Angeles, California. This event led to the Pentecostal churches that now exist.

What the Lord wants to do with America is turn Her into a picture of how black and white people, who operate in Him, can radically change the world, through judgement. However, He will first destroy the entertainment of black churches and the emptiness of white churches to create a Spirit led Church who have a zeal (strong emotions) for establishing (order and abundance) the kingdom of God. Indeed, that is the prophetic message behind the election of Barack Obama as President of the USA; he has a white mother and a black father. However, the reality of America is that She is a perversion and not the real thing, so the Obama election signals a time of judgement for God’s chosen country.

[We will look more closely at America in another article, as led by the Lord. However, what the Lord did to Elvis Presley, the white king of rock and roll, who pretended to be black, and to Michael Jackson, the black king of pop, who tried to be white, He shall do to the dysfunctional, “pill popping” Entertainment States of America.]

Through my attendance at an Adventist church on the Sabbath I have observed that the teaching is good, in that they attempt to renew the mind through the Word. I learn because I look behind the teaching to see what the Lord is saying. However, the result of the Adventist church does not appear to be any better than

that of so-called Sunday churches. The reason is because people continue to operate in the flesh because they do not know nor understand the things of the Spirit. God’s commandments cannot be kept in our flesh; we must know and understand the things of the Spirit, which is what the Lord Jesus taught when He was on earth in the flesh.

How does someone turn the other cheek when slapped? How does someone forgive a person 70 x 7 (490) times per day? Most people can’t love their family members, much less their neighbour. The higher righteousness of God is an impossible task, yet the Lord calls us to be perfect even as our Heavenly Father is perfect. We will never achieve the perfection of God through our flesh, so the only thing we can do is submit our spirit and allow His Spirit to operate in us (after we are filled with His Spirit). We are to be perfected on the Sabbath Day. Faith, the thing we require to please God is of the spirit not the flesh (Hebrew 11:1). No one can teach faith; you get it through your relationship with the Almighty God. Upon receiving the infilling of the Holy Spirit you gain, over time, the ability to submit your spirit to the Holy Spirit within you so that you can keep the commandments of God. Keep in mind that the primary commandment of God is to love Him first with your entire being and to love your neighbour as you love yourself. This kind of unconditional love is a manifestation of Holy Spirit.

Everyday we are to learn from and worship the Lord; however, the Sabbath Day must be set aside as a special day unto the Lord for systematic teaching on the things of the Spirit. We are to teach what Jesus taught so that we can walk how Jesus walked. Jesus took from the Old Covenant and revealed the New Covenant within the Old. “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing:

the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life.� (John 6:63) In the true Church of the Living God, the Sabbath Day, the 7 th Day of the week, is not a day of work it is a day of resting at the feet of Jesus. This is inline with the mandate of the Church to go out into the world and make disciples of all people. Discipleship is achieved through systematic teaching. Indeed, the 5 ministries of the Church are for the edification and perfecting of the body of Christ (the Church). We will see better results when the spiritual doctrines of Jesus Christ are taught on the Sabbath Day; for we will be operating in the order of God.

n the process of sanctifying the Lord’s priests that we spoke about at the beginning of this booklet the priests had to wait at the door of the tabernacle for 7 days and 7 nights. The 7 days and nights represent the 7th Day Sabbath, which is used to perfect the Lord’s priests over time. The door that the priests wait at represents the faith that is developed over time in their perfection on the Sabbath Day (faith is a key that opens the door to God). Waiting at a door means that you are expecting a visitation from God. This confirms what we said above about the teaching and faith that is developed on the Sabbath Day. There is much debate in the churches that have service on the Sabbath vs. those who have service on Sunday (the day after the 7th Day, which is the 8th Day). Some people in the 7th Day Adventist church believe that Sunday is going to become a forced day of worship, thus making it the mark of the Beast.

The other day the Lord showed me a pamphlet that appears to be produced by the 7th Day Adventist church in Jamaica. The pamphlet was titled “666”. In it the roman catholic church is identified as the Beast and their “mark” is the changing of the Sabbath Day from the 7th Day to Sunday (which is the 8th Day).

There is a belief that there will be a law passed at some point that enforces the Sabbath Day as Sunday (the 8 th Day) from Saturday (the 7th Day). We are not so sure about this law because anyone who lived in North America (I lived in Canada) know that laws are being passed to take away Sunday from being a civic holiday. Before the law enforced the closing of businesses on Sunday, but now it states the opposite and instead enforces a 5 day workweek based on any day of the week.

Our understanding from the Lord is that the roman catholic abomination is the Great Whore who rides upon the Beast; she is not the Beast but is rather supported by the Beast. This

understanding comes from Rev 17, which talks about the Great Whore and the Beast she rides upon. Only the roman catholic church with it Papacy, Mary idolatry, over 1 billion global membership fit this description. Indeed, the god of the catholic church is not Jesus Christ, per se, but rather Mary, who they have elevated to divinity. Upholding a man or woman as God is idolatry.

The practices of the catholic church make merchandise out of the people, essentially telling them that they can buy their way into heaven by giving to the catholic church. This is partially why the catholic church is the richest corporation in the world; the devil feeds her on the money and souls of the world. However, Rev 17 also tells us her fate; the very Beast (the horns or governments) that she rides upon shall turn upon her and destroy her. “And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.� (Revelation 17:16) The downward spiral of the catholic church has been going on for hundreds of years; though she is far from powerless. The catholic church is plagued with scandal after scandal and has been paying off sexual molestation lawsuits into the hundreds of millions of US dollars. We do not believe that the governmental system of the world (represented by the 10 horns) will enforce any law that gives her more power. Even if a law making Sunday a holy day is passed by the Jamaican government, the rest of the world has already done away with such laws and instead have made every day the same.

Sunday is not the Sabbath Day and it can never be, because it is the 8th day, the day after the Sabbath. Further, no one can

choose to change the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday, for it is a day established by God. Regardless of what men may say, the Sabbath is the 7th Day and it shall be that day forever. The same way we cannot change night into day we cannot change the Sabbath Day. So what about Sunday, the 8th day, why do people go to church on Sunday?

Some people who are pro-Sabbath and anti-Sunday believe that people attend church on Sunday because of the catholic church intervention and the idolatry of the Roman sun god. Every day of the week is named after a Roman god, including the Sabbath, which is Saturday and represents the Roman god, saturn. We believe that the catholic church teaches that the day of rest (Sabbath) is Sunday, but this is the nature of the Great Whore, she is a liar and a fornicator.

History points to the early church meeting on Sunday, which they called the Lord’s Day, in memorial of the resurrection (appearance) of the Lord Jesus on a Sunday (the first day of the week, which we call the 8th day, because it’s the day after the Sabbath). One of the letters written by Barnabas, Paul’s companion in the 1st century (around 110) state that: And we too rejoice in celebrating the eighth day; because that was when Jesus rose from the dead... [Epistle of Barnabas 15] (The 8th day refers to Sunday) The early Church was plagued by Jews who tried to push the ordinances of the Law on the people in the Church, including telling them they had to be circumcised and keep the Sabbath day according to the traditions of the Jews. We see Paul refuting these things in his epistle to the Galatians. The law cannot save, nor was it meant to save; it was added because of transgression.

please God. The blood of bulls and goats cannot save nor can circumcision nor the multitude of festivals and Sabbaths. There are many Sabbaths (7), other than the Sabbath day, added to the ceremonial nature of the Jewish life as part of the worship of God. [By the way, many Jew hating churches sprang up, including the roman catholic church, which tried to take the “Jewishness” out of the Church, including changing the Sabbath Day to Sunday. The Church was manifested first to the Jews; it is meant for the Jews first and then the rest of the world. We must love the Jews and hate the evil spirits that keep them bound. Everyone in the true Church becomes a spiritual Jew; you cannot hate the Jews of the flesh anymore than you can hate the flesh of Jesus Christ, who was a Jew.] The moral laws, including the whole of the 10 commandments, apply forever in the spirit, and the flesh. Of course, what you do in the spirit is revealed in the flesh. The moral laws of God always apply and cannot be done away with because they reveal the unchanging character of God. So you cannot lie, steal, commit adultery, practice idolatry, take the Lord’s name in vain, participate in immoral sexual practices (e.g. homosexuality, bestiality, incest, etc.), and forsake the Sabbath Day. Many people confuse the moral obligation of the 4th commandment to keep the Sabbath Day with the ordinances of the Sabbath and the various Sabbaths established as part of the Lord’s feast days. The only feast day that the Lord has shown me is appropriate to keep (without the ordinances) is the Feast of Tabernacles. Why? [Note, we are not advocating that people do things unless they are led by the Lord. It’s important that these operations are not done in the flesh, but rather in the spirit, which means you must first understand the spiritual aspect of what you are

doing, before it can be revealed in the flesh.]

The Feast of Tabernacles is a feast established by God on the 15th day of the 7th month (Tishrei). The feast is also called Sukkot and the Feast of Booths; historically, it has been one of the most important feasts of the Lord, occurring on special occasions, including the dedication of Lord’s temple that was built by Solomon.

A few years ago the Lord revealed to me through the time lines given in Luke 1 about the birth of John the Baptist that Jesus was born 6 months after John. Based on the ministry course (the course of Abia, which is the 8th course) of John’s father, Zacharias, we are able to deduce the time of the year that John was conceived and his birth. Based on our studies John could have been born at either Passover or the Feast of Tabernacles.

Since his birth is 6 months before Jesus then Jesus would have been born at either the Feast of Tabernacles or Passover, because the 2 festivals are 6 months apart.

When we looked at the meaning behind the 2 feasts we deduced that Jesus would have been born during the Feast of Tabernacles because He was destined to die at Passover as the Lamb of God (which He did). The Feast of Tabernacles is related to living in a temporary shelter in the wilderness, which is what the children of Israel and God did in the desert after they were led out of Egypt, and what God did in Jesus Christ. Jesus is the flesh (tabernacle) that the Spirit of God dwelt in among His people. The theme behind the feast is joy for God’s deliverance, provision, and salvation. Joy is more related to birth than death, so the birth of the Saviour would have a theme of joy.

“And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which

is Christ the Lord.” (Luke 2:10-11) This was sufficient for me to utterly reject and hate the day celebrated every year as the birth of Christ called Christmas on the 25th of December, which everyone “knows” is based on a pagan Roman feast. Recently, the Lord removed all doubts about the timing of the Lord’s birth through His miraculous use of time. 3 events occurred in my life that pointed to the Feast of Tabernacles (or Booths) as the correct time.

1. On September 9, 2009 (9/9/09) I was on a flight back from Toronto to Jamaica and the Lord had a young lady with the last name Boothe sit beside me. She was going to visit her father and had just recently received the Lord as her Saviour and was excited about being a Christian.

We exchanged phone numbers and we talked on the phone occasionally when she returned to Toronto. The only other person with the last name Boothe that I know is a 7th Day Adventist woman by the name of Joy Boothe, who lives in my community. [The number 9 is God’s number of spiritual power] 2. On December 25, 2009 Miss Boothe, from Toronto, made a call to her father in Jamaica. For some strange reason her call came to me, even though she dialed her father’s phone number from her cell phone, which is where it is saved. I was surprised by her call, because we had not spoken on the phone for several weeks, and she was surprised when I answered. It was strange, but I’m used to strange things happening, especially when the Lord is trying to get my attention, but I could not figure out why the Lord would connect us on that day. So I prayed for her.

3. On December 25, 2010, which was a Sabbath Day, I went to church at a 7th Day Adventist church. The day turned out to be Harvest day, and the young people performed

Biblical plays on the birth of Jesus. Though the Adventist church does not believe in Christmas as the birth of Jesus Christ, most people still like the cultural aspect of it so they acknowledge it. The Feast of Tabernacles (Booths) is also a harvest feast in that it is done after the harvest, which is always a time of celebration and joy for God’s bounty.

While I was at church on December 25, 2010 my mind went click as I noticed a theme running through the 3 events. These words came to the forefront of my mind; booth, joy, harvest, birth of Jesus Christ. I had already academically deduced from the Bible that Jesus was born during the Feast of Booths but I did not have direct revelation from God; which in many cases requires that we decipher the “coded” way in which the Lord sometimes speaks. The way to see things spiritually is to look at “small” details. If you get caught up in the big things you may not see God. As a way of confirming the timing of Jesus’ birth the Lord pointed to booth, joy, and harvest which are all part of the Feast of Tabernacles (Booth). God is in such control of everything the He can use seemingly unrelated events to reveal things to His prophets. God is absolutely Sovereign over everything.

For those who may think that satan could have “arranged” these events to make me come to the same conclusion, they err not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God. Most people give satan too much power (which is really an illusion created by him), not knowing that he is under the control of God. The devil cannot act independently; he is bound by the laws of God and by the Sovereignty of God. The filthy, unclean satan cannot arrange a complex, intelligent set of events involving perfectly timed interaction with hundreds of unrelated people and then open my eyes to scripture at the perfect time to see something

that he would not want me to see. If you believe satan has the power to do that then you will also believe that a dumb piece of dirt made a Big Bang and created the whole intelligent, complex universe. In reality the only power the devil has is his ability to make people afraid; he operates in fear and death because there is no life in him. The devil is a lowly blood (life) sucking evil spirit, who is hated and abhorred by God and the Lord’s sons.

The Feast of Tabernacles has 2 very important days, the 1 st day and the 8th day, which are proclaimed to be Sabbath days of rest unto the Lord. Both the 1st day and 8th day point to Sunday, which is the 1st day of the week and also the 8 th day, the day after the Sabbath. Sunday was used by the early Church as a day of rejoicing for the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, which of course is the theme of the feast.

Jesus’ ministry was to proclaim the kingdom of God is at hand, which is a harvesting of the people of earth back to God. The Lord told us that the “harvest is ready but the labourers are few, we must pray to the God of the harvest to send labourers into His harvest”. Jesus came to initiate the harvest of the earth, which is the work He has given to His Bride, the Church.

The prophet Zechariah states in the Kingdom Age that all nations shall keep the Feast of Tabernacles.

“And it shall come to pass, [that] every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.” (Zechariah 14:16) Though the above scripture speaks only about those nations who came against Jerusalem shall have to keep the Feast of Tabernacles, we say ALL nations because ALL nations will come against Jerusalem. Why? Because the nations of this world are under the influence of the Beast; every government is a beastly

institution meant to destroy not build. The nations of this world hate the Jewish people because they represent (literally and spiritually) the people who God shall set up to rule the world, righteously.

The devil will again attempt to make an end of the Jewish people, which is a Biblical prophecy revealed by Arthur Katz, as we outlined in our article The 144,000. Only the Jews who maintain their faith in the Almighty God and go to the places of refuge that the Lord will establish in His Church shall be saved.

The time of Jacob’s trouble shall come so that the world will know that the God of Israel is God! Since the Feast of Tabernacles is something that we can keep yearly, what are we supposed to do? I don’t believe that we are to follow the ordinances of the Jews (which is what most people do) but rather seek out the spiritual significance of what the feast is about. The theme of the feast is the joy that comes with a birth and the celebration of harvest. At a birth presents are given, great family meals are prepared and feasted upon, everyone is happy. The birth that we are joyous about is the birth (tabernacling) of our Lord Jesus Christ who is Saviour of the world.

If the counterfeit Christmas can be a time of joy and love then the yearly Feast of Tabernacles would go beyond it because we will be operating in the truth and the Lord shall be pleased and bless us. Glory and honour and praise belongs to the Living God; for He spoke and everything was created.

[We are not telling people what to do, but the Feast of Tabernacle would involve time off from daily work to spend with family, Church, and God. You would feast on the Word, good food, give gifts to the poor and needy, and delight in the knowledge of Salvation. The celebration would last 8 days.]

By the way the timing of the Feast of Tabernacle is based on the Jewish calendar, which means the feast is somewhere from late September to late October. The actual date is not the same every year in our calendar, so we don’t glorify the date.

[Another good day to celebrate yearly is Purim, which celebrates the day that the Lord saved the Jews from their enemies in the book of Esther. The theme is rejoicing and vindication; gifts and food are given to the poor and needy.]

was baptized on Sunday August 8, 2004 (8/8/04) at a church in Toronto by a pastor with a strong teaching anointing. There were many people baptized at the same time and I recognized that there were a lot of 8’s in our baptism. August is the 8 th month, on the 8th day of the month, on a Sunday, which is the 8th day (888). I thought it meant something but did not know what.

[By the way in Chinese culture 888 is a lucky number, so they use it in gambling. This is unfortunate, because the Chinese people have a strong anointing to teach, which the devil has turned into fleshy pursuits, especially for money.]

When you look through the Bible, the number 8 is used consistently to represent renewal and covenant. When the Lord killed all of mankind in the flood He saved 8 people who He used to regenerate the world. The Lord then reestablished His covenant with those 8 people.

The scripture at the beginning of this article speaks about the instruction to circumcise all Jewish males on the 8 th day after birth, which is a sign of God’s covenant with Abraham and His seed. The Lord intends on implementing His righteous government through the seed of Abraham. First the existing governments must be brought down and then God’s government will renew the world, righteously.

In the establishing of the Levitical priesthood, outlined at the beginning of this booklet, the 8th day is when the Lord appeared and the people were blessed. The 8th day is essentially when the covenant was made that these men and their seed would be God’s priests in the Old Covenant. (See Leviticus 9) Many of the Jewish feast days and ordinances have an 8 th day component, that is, something specific is done on the eighth day. The Day of Pentecost occurs on the 8 th day, the day after

the Sabbath. We know that the Lord established His Church on Pentecost and that 3000 souls were baptized on this day, after the Holy Spirit filled the 120 disciples of Jesus Christ. Of course, the Lord was resurrected (appeared) on the day after the Sabbath, the 8th day.

Is the Lord not telling us something specific about the 8 th day?

The Lord covenanted, appeared, and blessed on the 8 th day; which should mean that the 8th day belongs to Him. It is the day that He shall make all things new again. Sunday represents the 8th day, it is a day of rejoicing and gladness unto the Lord, it is the Lord’s Day. This is how the early Church saw the day (Sunday), a day of feasting (braking bread) and rejoicing in the Lord of our salvation.

By the way, in scripture whenever the Lord’s Day or the day of the Lord is mentioned it always refers to judgement, because it is a day of God’s visitation. When God visits He judges; He destroys the wicked and delivers the righteous. The New Covenant, which was established on the day of Pentecost (on the 8th day) is a renewal of the earth through spiritual judgement. God shall judge the things of the world, which are spiritually evil, to destroy evil and the things that are evil, and deliver His Church and those who are righteous. It is through the work of the Holy Spirit that we are made to walk in righteousness, so the Lord calls us righteous when we have received His Spirit by faith.

“I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,” (Revelation 1:10) The book of Revelation, which is a book of great judgements that are now in the earth was revealed and written on the Lord’s Day, which is Sunday. The Church must rejoice in the Lord’s judgements; for this is how She is delivered from the world of

iniquity and sin. The world must fear the Lord’s judgements; for this is how she shall be killed.

In most cultures there are 5 work days (Monday to Friday), and 2 weekend (rest) days (Saturday and Sunday). This is the Lord’s doing; for it allows us to give Him our rest days; the Sabbath (Saturday) is given to study and feeding on God’s word, the Lord’s Day (Sunday) is given to rejoicing and feasting before the Lord our Saviour.

[It’s interesting how black and white runs through what the Lord does. The Sabbath is a “white” day for the feeding of our minds, which the Lord made visible (He told us about it); the Lord’s Day (Sunday) is a “black” day for the establishing and building of our emotions. The Lord’s Day is hidden, just like our emotions, it is revealed spiritually.]

Another important distinction between the Sabbath and the Lord’s Day is that Sabbath is required for life; we cannot live without the spiritual nourishment that the Lord feeds us every Sabbath. So we must jealously guard our time on the Sabbath and not let anything interfere with our time at the Lord’s feet.

Of course, the Lord’s work must be done everyday, so stay tuned to His voice should He direct you to have compassion on your neighbour. The Lord’s Day (Sunday) is something that we should want with great desire, because it’s our rejoicing in our covenant with the Lord which saves us from the judgements to come.

The Lord is the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last; He deserves the first day (Sunday) and the last day (Sabbath, the 7th Day) of our week, because He spoke and we were created.
