MONDAY – TÓRSHAVN CITYTOUR,GO EXPLORING TOGETHER WITH A SEASONED STORYTELLER City tour with local guide. Walk in the old town Tinganes, Reyn and the charming harbor area Vágsbotn. Then by bus to the newer part of town. The tour ends with a lunch. After the tour it is possible to visit the National Museum. The tour starts with pick up at hotels and at the bus terminal in Tórshavn. 10.00–13.00. MONDAY – GEOLOGY TOUR ON SUDUROY On Suðuroy the Faroese geology history is visible all over the island. With a local guide, you go on an exciting geology trip where you get close to the amazing geological phenomena, such as basalt columns and tufa. In addition, you visit the old coalmines that are still in operation. The excursion is available as a day tour from Tórshavn – The tour starts on Suðuroy. 12.00–16.00. MONDAY – FARM VISIT – FAROESE HORSES AND SHEEP Historical walk with the farmer, who will tell the story about the farm which is from around year 1400. Gain insight into Faroese agriculture and greet the farm animals. See the remains of the caves where people hid from the pirates, and hear about the first whaling station in the Faroe Islands. Afterwards enjoy a coffee and a piece of bread with homemade cold cuts from the farm – Tour starts at agreed location on the island of Streymoy. 13.00–15.30. tueDAY – DAY TRIP TO THE NORTHERN ISLANDS Through Streymoy and Eysturoy to the village of Leirvík and then through the tunnel to Klaksvík. The trip offers great views of the islands of Fugloy, Svínoy, Borðoy and Kunoy. See Viking settlements and the Christians Church in Klaksvík. Tour starts with pick up at hotels and at the bus terminal in Tórshavn. 08.00–17.00. tueDAY – CRUISE WITH THE SCHOONER NORÐLÝSIÐ A cruise with a schooner where we sail along the coast and sea cliffs. Depending on weather conditions, we usually have time for a quick stop in the village of Nólsoy. Tour starts in the harbour in Tórshavn. 09.00–12.00. tueDAY – GROTTO CONSERT AND SIGHTSEEING AT SEA With the schooner Norðlýsið we go to one of two islands, Hestur or Nólsoy. From here we sail in a smaller boat into a grotto or sea cave, where a concert is held. A unique musical experience. Tour starts in the harbour in Tórshavn. 13.00–18.00. tueDAY – FAROESE FISH BUFFET Throughout the summer, Hotel Hafnia offers a fish buffet with exquisite, freshly caught fish from around the islands. All you can eat. Starts at Hotel Hafnia in Tórshavn. 18.00–22.00. wednesDAY – VISIT THE ISLAND OF VÁGAR Drive via the mountain road to Norðadalsskarð to enjoy the panoramic view over the island of Koltur. On Vágar, we visit the unique villages of Gásadalur and Bøur. Enjoy the view over Tindhólm and Mykines. Tour starts with pick up at hotels and at the bus terminal in Tórshavn. 08.30–12.30.

wednesDAY – DAY TOUR TO THE ISLAND OF MYKINES – ON YOUR OWN Day tour to the western most island of Mykines, also called a bird paradise. See the impressive gannet and get close to puffins. Please note that the tour is guided from Tórshavn to the ferry in the village of Sørvágur and again from Sørvágur to Tórshavn, the rest of the time you are on your own. SUNDAY – THE SAGA ISLAND OF SANDOY AND KIRKJUBØUR Day trip to the Saga Island of Sandoy, one of the most unspoiled islands where one can still experience the traditional Faroese lifestyle. Experience a church visit, fantastic scenic views, small villages and bird cliffs. Before returning to Tórshavn, we visit the cultural centre of Kirkjubøur.
