WELCOME to our farm We are a 350 acre USDA certified organic farm, on-farm market, and agritourism destination in Nashville, Tennessee. Nestled along the Cumberland River, our farm is 11 miles from downtown. We grow a wide variety of fruits, flowers, vegetables, and herbs for the local community. ​Our agritourism operation offers the perfect setting for meetings, special events, and farm experiences. meet our OWNER Sylvia Harrelson Ganier, our farm operator, brings years of farm and restaurant experience as well as a passion for food and education. Her background, growing up on a dairy farm in North Carolina, melds with her many years in the restaurant business, including being chef and owner of her former Nashville based establishment, CIBO. Sylvia is passionate about growing delicious, nutritious food and providing guests a beautiful place for farm experiences.

meet our CHEF Richard Jones’ journey as a chef has spanned the globe. His culinary adventure began in Adelaide, South Australia where the diversity of food and wine influenced his green thumbs and flavor palate. Richard moved to Nashville in 2000 and has worked under chefs Brian Uhl, Michael Tuohy, and Sean Brock. Developing a personal chef business and catering for companies large and small led to cheffing for musical artists including Sugarland, Zac Brown Band, U2 and Keith Urban. In the summer of 2012, Richard joined Green Door Gourmet as Executive Chef. This unique position was created to educate consumers, develop recipes to help CSA members better utilize produce, and further the education and encouragement of community-supported agriculture in the Middle Tennessee area. Join award-winning Chef Richard as he changes the face of true field-tofork dining in real time across the Nashville foodscape.

Green Door Gourmet grows an abundance of specialty cut flowers and greenery. Explore those varieties while our florist guides you through the basics of flower arranging and composition.

Implement the art of flower arranging in a workshop led by our floral designer. Learn about design fundamentals including composition, preservation methods, vessel selection, and flower pairings. Utilizing our seasonal flowers, create a lasting floral arrangement to take home.

The Grand Barn is constructed of Tennessee native rough-sawn white oak and nestled in the heart of our farm. The climate-controlled venue boasts 27 foot tall ceilings, a wraparound mezzanine area, reclaimed wooden bars, and spacious restrooms.
