Mosquito Lake

Mosquito Lake is one of the largest lakes in Ohio, covering 7,850 acres of land. Activities available at the park include fishing, camping, boating, watersports, wildlife viewing, hiking, and winter sports.

Cortland Veterans Memorial

Honoring those who served, the Veterans Memorial was dedicated on Nov. 17, 2018. The memorial features a soldier’s cross and kneeling soldier in the center with special lighting, a water feature, and military emblems. Engraved pavers honoring veterans from this area and beyond surround the kneeling soldier.

Turkey Run Trail

Turkey Run Trail is a bird-watcher’s paradise, where 177 species have been spotted. From warblers to goldfinches, hummingbirds to geese, you’ll discover a full range of feathered friends along this beautiful and relaxing 5-mile trail.

Willow Park

Explore the outdoors at Willow Park, where a variety of activities await, including a skate park, basketball court, four pickleball courts, three tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, bocce courts, two softball/baseball fields, walking trails, a playground, and picnic areas.

Cortland has five beautiful parks and recreational areas that are continuously being improved and updated. Facilities and activities include a splash pad, a sled hill, soccer fields, baseball/softball fields, basketball courts, tennis courts, pickleball courts, sand volleyball, a skateboard park, playground/picnic areas and restroom facilities.
