Impact Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties received the first ever Youth Megaphone Award. The Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) was awarded the 2022 Commercial Service Airport of the Year Award by the Florida Department of Transportation. All Faiths Food Bank receives over $83,000 in Support of BackPack and Summer Programs that provides nutritious snack bags to students. Neuro Challenge Foundation for Parkinson’s has been selected as a recipient of a Parkinson’s Foundation community grant of $17,700. Eight local Center For Sight surgeons will perform free vision-restoring procedures for individuals who cannot afford to pay for cataract surgery. JFCS of the Suncoast, Inc. food trucks, and the community came together to raise funds for the family of food truck crash victims.
