Colin Ong from Great Eastern Nominated for Inspirational Agent/Leader of the Year Colin Ong Lian Jin, Senior Executive Director, Great Eastern Financial Advisors, Singapore has won the prestigious Inspirational Leader of the Year award. It is a richly deserved award considering his immense contributions to his company as well as the insurance industry. Colin Ong has been a constant inspiration to people who have worked with him as well as those who are just acquainted with his body of work.

Mr. Ong began his journey in the highly competitive insurance industry in 1992, under the guidance of Tan Koon Chuan, the then director of Great Eastern Agency. After spending almost three decades serving the company, Mr. Ong has managed to earn the title of one of the most successful leaders Great Eastern has ever had. Today, the name Colin Ong Great Eastern stands synonymous with dedication, success, and inspiration.

He is also the founder of Advisors Clique, a premier community of financial advisors. The community has only grown in stature with every passing day since its launch. It began as an eight-member team; however, today, Advisors Clique is represented by almost 440 members.

Due to his ability to grow and let others grow with him, most of his associates and peers regard Mr. Ong as their mentor. Among the plethora of inspirational qualities, he has, the one that stands out is his ability to encourage every member of his to work to achieve a common goal.

This is not the first time Colin Ong has won a prestigious award. His tryst with awards began way back in 1998 when he became the Divisional Sales Officer at Great Eastern.

One of the biggest awards he has received so far is the Centennial award. Just three senior executive directors of Great Eastern were given the award to mark the 100th anniversary of the company.

Taking his company to newer heights, helping people to achieve professional goals, and winning awards are not the only things Mr. Ong is respected for. He has also given back significantly to society. He has donated big sums for the welfare of underprivileged children, taken part in several fund-raisers, supported old-age homes, and more.
