HOW TO MAKE CREPES

Introduction

Today I will be teaching you how to make crepes in eight easy steps. I made this crepes with my mother and it only took thirty minutes. It was amazing to learn something new, that I will use in the future.

1 STEP

GATHER: FLOWER EGGS MILK SALT BUTTER

2 STEP

Using measuring cups put 1 cup of all purpose flower and 1 tbsp. of granulated sugar in a mixing bowl.

Mix the sugar and the flower in the bowl with a whisk.

3 STEP

Crack two large eggs into the same mixing bowl and throw away the egg shells.

Stir the eggs into the flower and sugar mixture with the whisk. While stirring the eggs, flower, and sugar use a measuring cup and gradually pour 1.5 cups of whole milk in the mixing bowl.

4 STEP

While using a measuring cup put 1 tbsp. of butter into a sauce pan.

Put the sauce pan with the butter on the stove top on medium heat. Wait for the butter to melt in the sauce pan and pour the melted butter into the mixing bowl that has the other in ingredient.

5 STEP

Take the whisk and mix all of the ingredient in the bowl till it is smooth. Let the bowl with all of the ingredient sit on the counter top at room temperature for 30 minutes.

6 STEP

Grab a medium sized sauce pan and set on stove top burner. Turner the burner on where the sauce pan is located at 2/3 the maximum power.

Grab a measure cup that is 1/4 cup and scoop up the crepe mixture that is in the bowl.

7 STEP

Take the 1/4 measuring cup and pore it evenly over the sauce pan.

Cook the crepe for 1 minute and then flip the crepe with a spatula.

Cook the other side of the crepe for one minute.

8 STEP

When both sides are cooked then put the crepe on a plate. Repeat the steps 13-17 with the remaining crepe mix.
