When: Tue, Thu, Fri 12:30-3:30pm (Jan 9,11,12,16,'18,'19) Taught by Pam Pdce PRE-REQ: Sludents should have competent keyboarding skills to get the most out of this class- lf you need to improve your own typlng skills, search for keyboardlng tutorials online to ensurc your success in the class. You will get a lot of practice with beginning word processing, creating files and folders, and developing your small and large motor skills (helpfulwith the mouse). The class will use Wn '10 to teach the standard ieatures ofa Wndows PC. Our goal is to help you be successful and have fun with your computer.

We will make sure your phone is set up to sync lbackup], contacts, photos, and apps. We go over using the Google calendar, set up contacts, email, and photos. We will use Google Chrome on a computerto see what is on your phone.

Learn how to use the photo editing tools built into Google Photos. That includes cropping, filters, adding graphics, and sharing the results. We will also use Google Photos to create videos.
Shutterflv Length: Two sessions Max 12 Students When: Mon.Wed, '12:30-3:30pm (Jan 8,10) Taught by Laura Jesberg Shutterfly is an online website that allows you to, not only store your photos for free, but lets you print your photos on a multitude of surfaces: scIapbooks, cards, stationery, calendars, personalized gifts, home decor, and more. This class will teach you to create a scrapbook, but you can use the skills you learn in class to personalize many other cool products.

Learn how to print on your home printer or at the store. Now I have a computer running Wndows, what do I need to know? Leam about Cyber Security, viruses, password management, safe browsing and backup options. Learn where to find getting started video's, how to change the tiles on the Wndows desktop, how to attach apps to the task bar or desktop, how to use the start button, where to find apps and other items. will be discussed. lf you have a \Mndows 10 or Windows 11 laptop, we recommend that you bring it to class.
