In fact, it was formalised in ’86 so that made last year our 30th Anniversary! So we are back again this year with more cars and more members on hand to answer all your questions. As one of the regular and biggest clubs at the NKCS, we will once again be occupying Block 53 adjacent to the Westfield Sports Car slalom with display cars, autojumble and all things Westfield. We have retained our spot in Hall 2 where you will find lots of our Speed Series cars. The Westfield Speed Series embodies the competitive spirit of the Westfield Sports Car Club for all types and specifications of Westfield Cars and across the complete spectrum for drivers! Please visit our stand to get ‘hooked’ on the thrill of Sprinting and Hill Climbing! Also in Hall 2 we are proud to have as our guests a selection of our club sponsors including… Northampton Motorsport (NMS) are well respected industry experts in the areas of engine tuning and chassis set-up for road and race cars. If you popped into NMS’s fully-equipped workshops you’d be as likely to see historic (and often priceless) race cars as you would be to see Westfields, hot hatches and bespoke modern competition cars being put through their paces on the dynamometer. The NMS team will be on hand to answer any of your fuel injection, engine mapping and car suspension set up questions and can talk you through upgrade programmes to enable you to wisely spend your budget to get the best results.
We will also have details and information for a selection of our other sponsors including A-Plan Insurance and Aerodynamix who will have their own stands at the show. Outdoors on Block 53 we will host the biggest selection of Westfields likely to be seen in any one place at the same time. In previous years we have managed to display in excess of 250 Westfields each day so there is bound to be something that takes your fancy for a quick picture or to borrow an idea or two for your own build or upgrade. Many of the club’s grass roots members can be found in and around our marquee and we welcome one and all to come and celebrate all that is Westfield with us. Take a stroll down ‘Westfield Avenue’ into the marquee for a cup of tea or coffee and a chat. All are welcome; it’s not just for members. We will have on display a typical selection of Westfields such as you may find in your local area along with owners who will be glad to talk to you about Westfield ownership. Inside we will also have various displays and stands offering WSCC merchandise; members’ own Westfield Cars For Sale area; Westfield Sports Cars Ltd drift experience Charity raffle in aid of The Air Ambulance Service; information about your local WSCC area on our ‘Area Organiser’ display; our ever-popular WSCC autojumble; Club Membership services; snack bar; and Westfield kit car for just one pound! Don’t forget to have a poke around the cars for sale whilst you are there too. We sincerely hope that you enjoy your time with us, whether you are a WSCC member, thinking of joining the WSCC, just want to ‘talk shop’ with like-minded enthusiasts or want to see what a person who has been a member of car club for thirty years plus looks like…
