City Hall Campus | 200 Block on W. Main Street (and Surrounding Areas)

The City of Grand Prairie Parks, Arts and Recreation Department is hosting the 10th Annual Main Street Fest. Alongside selected performers, this festival will celebrate the fun, festive, family atmosphere of Grand Prairie with live music! Be sure to enjoy a variety of novelty entertainment, carnival rides, an arts & crafts area, business expo, entertainment stages, food trucks and beer gardens, KiDZONE and plenty of fun for all!

MAY 29 | Memorial Day

Gather at 9:30 a.m.

Ceremony begins at 10:00 a.m.

Veterans Memorial | 925 Conover Dr.

Join us to pay tribute to the Grand Prairie service men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. The dedicated Brass Honor Bell will be rung after the reading of each name of Grand Prairie service personnel lost during the many battles for our freedom. The Grand Prairie Police Honor Guard will honor our service personnel with a 21-gun salute and Taps played. Upon conclusion of the ceremony, an All-American Lunch of hot dogs and lemonade provided by the Grand Prairie Rotary Clubs.

3 | Crawfish Boil

Grand Prairie Farmers Market | 120 W. Main St. Grand Prairie’s annual Crawfish Boil features live music, local vendors, games, and of course, crawfish. Tasty authentic crawfish prepared by Dustin Clement’s Heads or Tails Cajun Crawfish will be sold by pound and accompanied with potatoes and corn. The crawfish will be available promptly at 10:00 a.m.

JULY 15 | Ice Cream Challenge for Charity

10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. (or until sold out)

Grand Prairie Farmers Market | 120 W. Main St. Summer is officially here, and the temperatures are rising . There’s no better way to cool down on a hot day than with homemade ice cream! Charities will go head-to-head in the Ice Cream Challenge for Charity to see who has the best ice cream recipe in order to be crowned the champions and win money for their charity. Tickets to sample all of the homemade ice cream and to place your vote, will be sold on-site. Come cool yourself off with ice cream while you enjoy live music, shop the market, and help your favorite charity win money! AUGUST 12 | Hatch Chile Fest

Grand Prairie Farmers Market | 120 W. Main St. Get your hot roasted Hatch Chiles at Grand Prairie Farmers’ Market during this annual festival that features both raw and roasted Hatch chiles sold by the pound (until 1 p.m. or sold out), live music, food, games, and local vendors.

PlayGrand Adventures provides a safe and fun playground experience of ‘EPIC’ proportions for all ages and abilities. The playground includes adventure areas which are designed to stimulate, challenge, and encourage development of several skill sets while providing social interaction, sense of discovery, creativity, and exercise.
