Come reel ‘em in at Mike Lewis Park Pond! This popular event is FREE to children 16 and under. The pond will be stocked with trout. There is no registration or entry fee to participate in the Kid’s Fishing Day, but there will be an on-site sign-up table. A limited number of loaner rods and reels will be available on a first come first serve basis. Registration is 10:00am-12:00pm on September 30th, 2023. Be the first to see all new displays at the 2023 Prairie Lights as you run, jog, walk or stroll through the lighted park. November 18th will be dedicated for runners, joggers and fast walkers. November 19th is set aside for those who want to walk and stroll through the lights.

Join us for our Annual Veterans Day Celebration! This year's Veterans Day will be hosted in person and live streamed on the GrandFunGP Facebook page. Join us as we take this time to honor the service of our veterans and their families who have sacrificed to protect and defend this county. Lunch will be provided by the Rotary Clubs of Grand Prairie in the Veterans Park Event Center immediately after the service. All are welcome. ›

Be dazzled by Prairie Lights as you drive through 4 million lights set along 2 miles of path. Hundreds of all-new displays in shapes of all kinds line and arch over the roads. Halfway through the drive, get out of your car for a stop at Holiday Village, where you will find food, gifts, Santa and a Lighted Walk-Through Forest. The second half of the drive ends with the new and improved light tunnel – the perfect finale to a night you will never forget! Open from Thanksgiving Day to New Year’s Eve.
