MEET OUR GRADUATES

We spoke to two of our Engineering Graduates and asked them about their time on the project.

During my time on the Graduate programme I have developed knowledge and experience of software and IT skills. In addition, through my graduate site engineering experience I am fully confident in understanding drawings, solving technical and practical issues on site, whilst developing my leadership and management skills. I am confident and an excellent team player and enjoy building and developing strong working relationships with peers and colleagues.

During my 2 years working as part of the University of York project team, I have had real exposure to both the civil engineering and building side of the industry. This experience has helped me develop technical knowledge and practical skills. I have been responsible for quality observations, setting out and snagging. I have a better understanding of interpreting drawings and believe my decision making has improved. I have also really enjoyed working as part of team to deliver this exciting project
