Learn how to make delicious pickles at home and take home a jar of freshly pickled goodies. All materials provided. Part of the ‘Local Lunch Club – Live well, eat well, together’ program. The Joys of the Women: 30th Anniversary Screening

Come celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Joys of the Women (Le gioie delle donne), with a special screening of the documentary that made the Gioie delle Donne choir and their musical director, Kavisha Mazzella (AM), household names. The film captures with wit and warmth the larger-than-life characters of the choir and follows Mazzella’s musical journey to find the lost songs of a generation.

After the screening, enjoy a performance from Mazzella and members of the newly formed Lingua Madre choir, followed by a Q&A with Mazzella and Di Chiera, hosted by Dr Maria Pallotta-Chiarolli (AM), Australian academic, author and activist. Booking is required.
