WEDNESDAY, 1ST SEPTEMBER LIN BENDER AM

Lin Bender was appointed Chief Executive of the Helen Macpherson Smith Trust in October 2013. She has had an extensive career in the not-for-profi t sector including strategic development for the Victorian Government on the Melbourne Recital Centre Project, general manager of Radio 3MBS, national marketing manager for the Australia Business Arts Foundation (AbaF) and general manager of the Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition (Chamber Music Australia). Lin’s consultancy work has delivered a range of major projects. She has also established and implemented successful marketing strategies, business development plans and private giving programs for national and state organisations. Lin was awarded a Member in Th e Order of Australia in 2010, for services to arts administration through executive roles and to the music community of Melbourne.
