ALUMNI HIGHLIGHTS ALUMNI CAREER PANELS
CASA DO SABER
Graded hosted a series of Alumni Career Panels for the current high school students. These panels, led by distinguished alumni, helped students better understand the demands, opportunities, and knowledge required within specific sectors. Panels covered Business and Culinary Arts; Engineering and Design; and Entertainment.
The AAC hosted two continued learning events at Casa do Saber. Dr. Leandro Karnal presented “Four Families that Changed the World” and Luiz Hanns discussed “The Search for Meaning and Happiness”. Thank you to alumnus Jair Ribeiro da Silva Neto ‘77 for partnering with the Alumni Advisory Committee to provide these unique opportunities.

DISTINGUISHED SPEAKER SERIES On October 7th, 2014, The Alumni Advisory Committee launched the Alumni Speaker Series. The first guest speaker was Pérsio Arida, former President of the Central Bank of Brazil and Partner at BTG Pactual. Pérsio presented to a packed house of nearly 200 alumni, with standing room only, on “Brazil Post-Election Scenarios”. This provided an excellent opportunity for informal networking among alumni.
