The Aztec Society

The Aztec civilization had many jobs: farmers, fisherman, hunters, soldiers, doctors, priests, merchants, traders, craftsman, ball players (sports), engineers, builders, and matchmakers. As you can see, there were many jobs during the Aztec Civilization. They lived in moderate houses; ranged from one-room huts to spacious palaces, depending on how much money a person had. The marriage of Aztecs followed customary law; men got married at age 20-22 and women got married at age 15-18. The ceremony would take at the groom’s parent’s house. The groom’s parents would give presents to the bride’s parents. The education of Aztecs: children were taught by their parents. When a child turns to his/her teenager life, they attend school. 12
