PANDORA – THE WORLD OF AVATAR Na edição passada comentei que uma das atrações mais esperadas para este ano em Orlando era a Pandora – The World of Avatar. E, mais uma vez, não posso deixar de dar destaque a essa grande inauguração, que faz parte da maior expansão do parque Animal Kingdom. O bafafá em torno dela está causando tanto, que rendeu até um comercial exclusivo durante a última premiação do Oscar. Inspirada no premiado filme de James Cameron, Avatar, a novidade irá transportar os visitantes para o exuberante planeta de Pandora, uma geração após o conflito entre os humanos e o povo Na’vi. O mundo místico de florestas bioluminescentes, montanhas flutuantes e Banshees voando pelo céu também poderá ser visto por lá. Windtraders será uma loja temática inspirada na cultura Na’vi, o bar Pongu Pongu contará com bebidas refrescantes e o restaurante Stau’li Canteen promete surpreender com seus pratos. In the previous issue, I commented that one of the most expected attractions in Orlando this year was Pandora –The World of Avatar. Once again, I can’t miss highlighting this huge launching that takes part on the biggest expansion from Animal Kingdom Park. The frisson around it is so huge that there was even an exclusive TV ad aired during the last Oscar ceremony.
Inspired in the awarded James Cameron movie, Avatar, the novelty will transport the visitors to the exuberant planet of Pandora, a generation after the conflict between humans and the people Na’vi. The mystic world of bioluminescent forests, floating mountains and Banshees flying through the sky will also be seen there. Windtraders will be a thematic store inspired in the Na’vi culture, the bar Pongu Pongu will have refreshing beverages and the restaurant Stau’li Canteen promises to surprise with its dishes.
A arquitetura é inspirada no Steampunk e na era do motor a vapor. Ela realmente nos transporta para uma verdadeira fábrica de chocolates do século XIX. Quando avistei suas duas chaminés em pleno funcionamento, tive a impressão de que o cheirinho do chocolate me pegou pela mão e me conduziu direto para sua majestosa porta giratória. Há também uma linda loja onde encontramos uma variedade incrível de doces e souvenirs. São chocolates artesanais, pirulitos, pipocas de caramelo, balas líquidas, balas em pó, algodão doce, peças de decoração, acessórios e muito mais. No cardápio há desde pratos de carnes clássicas, frutos do mar até hambúrgueres gourmet, sanduíches e ainda um brunch servido o dia inteiro. O destaque fica para a ótima seleção de sobremesas, como os milkshakes artesanais, cupcake Red Velvet e bacon coberto de chocolate – assim como uma variedade de sundaes e outras delícias doces. The architecture is inspired in Steampunk and the stemming engine era. It really transport us to a real chocolate factory from century XIX. When I saw its two chimneys properly working, I had the impression that the chocolate smell took me by the hand e guided me straight to the majestic rotating door. There is also a beautiful store where we find an incredible variety of sweets and souvenirs. They are artisanal chocolate, lollipops, caramel popcorn, liquid candies, powder candies, cotton candy, decoration pieces, accessories and much more. In the menu, there is from classical beef dishes, seafood up to gourmet hamburgers, sandwiches and still a brunch served during the whole day. The highlight is the great selection of deserts like artisanal milkshakes, Red Velvet cupcake and bacon covered on chocolate – as well as a variety of sundaes and other sweet delicious.
