ur new VP of Recruiting, Cassidy Armstrong, will be leading our efforts in doctor recruitment. He emphasizes the importance of meaningful connections and effective communication in this process. Cassidy encourages us to move away from relying solely on text and email, as they can lead to misunderstandings. Instead, he suggests prioritizing phone calls and, whenever possible, scheduling video meetings for a more comprehensive dialogue. Cassidy’s dedication to facilitating doctor recruitment is evident, and he expresses, “And for doctors – send them to me.” While he aims to be the primary point of contact, he acknowledges the value of collaboration and wants to work closely with all of you. He intends to personally engage with each doctor who may be a potential asset to our team. Your support and cooperation in directing prospective doctors to Cassidy will greatly contribute to our recruitment success. We look forward to a collaborative effort in building a stronger and more vibrant group of providers at GPS Dental.

This is just a reminder that Front Street Weborder Intake Form is for BOTH equipment and facilities requests.

It is REQUIRED to be used if you need your dental equipment serviced. If you have NEW equipment you would like purchased, please email me directly at chandler@gps.dental, as all equipment purchased must be approved by me! This ticketing system goes directly to our service partners. This also ensures you get a tech on the Patterson/Henry Schein dedicated team. It also ensures we can track any parts and allow you to receive faster service times in the event of an emergency. While many of you are not currently operating this way, we will be scheduling best practice calls in the coming weeks to ensure you know the process and are using it.

If you have a facilities issue, Front Street is an OPTION. If you already have a plumber you have used for years and love, please keep using him! Just please keep me up to date on any facilities issues. Front Street, for facilities maintenance, is just an option if you need a vendor and do not know where to go! Please reach out with any questions you may have!

Course Description As dental professionals, our focus is to provide comprehensive patient care. At times it can be challenging to help patients understand the value of ideal treatment. If you sat down today and reviewed 30 patient charts at random, it may shock you to find the amount of diagnosed treatment that has not been completed. Clear communication and understanding of the treatment plan, financial options that meet patient needs and efficient scheduling are necessary to move forward with treatment. Case acceptance is essential for ideal patient care and will have a significant influence on practice growth and success.

Course Objectives • Recognize the need for increasing case acceptance • Review case acceptance benchmarks and averages • Identify team roles in improving case acceptance

About the Speaker Cathy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Iowa. Cathy’s dental hygiene career has included clinical practice, experience in the dental insurance industry, public health, hospital pediatric dentistry, practice consulting and she has served as the Director of Dental Hygiene for a large dental service organization. She is currently a full time Professional Education Manager in the South Central Region for Philips Oral Healthcare.
