Since this issue spotlights student athletes, let’s take a leap to the world’s biggest stage, the Olympics. Nancilyn Sanders Kroushl (Nevada) and Sigrit Morghen (Nevada) served as interpreters at the 1960 Summer Games in Rome. In this photo, the two sisters proudly hold up the Olympic Star, representing not only the spirit of the Games but the sisterhood that brought them there.
