“The rewards of spiritual development, academic insight and cultural growth are innumerable.” Jeon is a business administration and accounting double major who plans to pursue a career in public accounting after graduating from Gordon. On campus, she holds roles as the director of the International Students Organization and intern at the Controller’s Office. Outside of Gordon, Jeon’s favorite activity is biking with friends to local cafes and stores.
TONGAI MAKONI ’12 Zimbabwe, Africa Economics International Affairs
“Gordon prepared me to influence positive change in Zimbabwe.” As a double major in economics and international affairs, Makoni is most passionate about economic development and poverty alleviation in Africa. While at Gordon, he mentored other international students, worked at the Bennett Center, and played his favorite sports: racquetball, tennis and ping pong.
