AS A JUNIOR IN 2011: Ranked fourth on the team with 16 appearances and led Penn State with five saves while anchoring the backend of the bullpen ... Picked up his first win of the year in the season opener against Seton Hall on February 18 ... Worked 3.2 innings of relief, allowing just one earned run while scattering three hits during the 8-6 victory ... Earned his first save against NC State on March 4 after firing a perfect inning against the Wolfpack to seal a 3-2 victory ... Pieced together a string of six straight appearances without allowing an earned run from March 8-27 ... Tossed 4.2 innings of relief against Old Dominion and picked up the victory after scattering three hits with two strikeouts against the Monarchs on March 8 ...
