Salt Boxx, Inc. is a Holistic Wellness Center offering Salt Therapy (Halotherapy), Infrared Sauna Therapy, Massage Therapy, and Vibrational/Sound Therapy. Family-owned and operated, Salt Boxx came to life in May 2021 with owners Denise Moczydlowski & Jaimee Loomis—a mother and daughter team from South Florida. We experienced our first Salt Therapy session in South Florida several years ago and knew we had to share this non-invasive holistic treatment with many more people. We were going to open a center in our Florida hometown, but Jaimee and her family vacationed in Bradley County several times and fell in love. Soon after, she relocated her family to Cleveland. We knew this was something unique and special that we wanted to share with the Cleveland community and surrounding areas as the first Salt Therapy Center.

Denise has been a Licensed Massage Therapist in FL, CA, and now TN, with fifteen years of experience with training in multiple massage modalities. Her greatest joy has been offering charitable massages to caregivers and arthritis and cerebral palsy clients while owning and operating Compassionate Therapy and More, a non-profit organization in South Florida. She also brings ten years of Hospital Inpatient and Outpatient Therapy background—of which, eight years were spent in Pediatric Therapy.

Jaimee’s passion comes with her longtime love in the Cardiology field, working as a Medical Assistant for over ten years. The drive to begin the journey for the Salt Boxx was fueled by Jaimee’s role in direct patient care and her compassion for helping others. Jaimee first noticed the benefits and improvement in sleeping after salt sessions. Suffering from autoimmune issues herself, she wanted to share the benefits of holistic treatments with others who also suffer from different autoimmune conditions.

So, what does Salt Boxx offer? Salt Boxx is built around Salt Therapy. Salt Therapy (Halotherapy) originated hundreds of years ago in Poland, where it was discovered that salt miners were found to rarely suffer from respiratory and sinus issues. Mining jobs were usually recognized as hazardous to health, but salt miners rarely suffered from contracted respiratory illnesses and showed fewer signs of aging skin due to the long-term concentrated exposure to the salt. Dr. Feliks Boczkowski studied the effects of the salt, and in 1839 founded the first health resort at the Wieliczka Salt Mine in Poland.

Our services offered at Salt Boxx include Salt Therapy, Infrared Sauna Therapy, Massage Therapy, Vibrational Sound Therapy, and Himalayan Singing Bowls. We offer two Salt Therapy rooms with 45-minute salt sessions—The Beach Room and The Cave Room. Relax in our zero gravity recliners while breathing the salty air! Our Express Salt Tikis are a concentrated 10-minute express salt session for those who need a quick fix! Salt Therapy benefits may include relief from Asthma, Allergies, Sinus Congestion, Sinus Headaches, Wheezing, COPD, Sleep Apnea, Eczema, Psoriasis, and Stress. Our Infrared Sauna is great for detoxification, weight loss, stress/anxiety/relaxation, inflammation, and pre/post workout for athletic recovery. It is also backed by the American Heart Association, for the healthy heart benefits with hypertension and circulatory systems. Vibrational Sound Therapy and Himalayan Singing Bowl Therapy are services that are similar to a no-contact massage, with all the same wonderful benefits of a massage.

Salt Therapy has not been approved by the FDA, nor our facility. While there are many scientific studies on our holistic services, please consult with your physician before engaging in our services.
