Innovation Realisation and QuickLay Fire Attack Designed in Australia www.quicklayfireattack.com Prior to the design of The Fire Attack Packs, which form the ‘QuickLay System’, there was no standard fire fighting procedure for laying fire hose rapidly, efficiently and reliably. One of the main challenges was charging water through a hose without it tangling. A fire fighter is normally expected to bowl out the hose, which takes valuable time when time is absolutely of the essence. The Fire Attack Packs have been designed to hold the hose in such a manner that a fire fighter no longer has to bowl hose reducing the amount of time to combat a fire.
