Steve Voglezon ’05 and his wife Amanda were married on December 4, 2015. Steve reports that he and Amanda were planning to have their wedding ceremony in Raleigh, North Carolina, and did a Google search of the Catholic churches and priests in the area. Their search pulled up Fr. Phil Hurley, SJ, Steve’s former Ethics teacher at Gonzaga. He called Fr. Hurley who married them. Elizabeth Hospice in San Diego, CA, as a lay chaplain since 2004. He also informs that his wife, Mary, sold her custom framing business and is now retired. Larry will be touring Ireland in September 2016… John Corbin ’57 reports, “Your devoted servant, John Carlton Corbin, is cursed to be one of the few experts in the arcane science of railway track geometry and its measurement. In my years at Gonzaga, I was a good friend of Dr. John Warman and I know he will be sorely missed…” Bill Gates ’57 reports, “After a 31-year Air Force career as a colonel, commander, and pilot, I am finishing my 27th year as an elementary teacher, coach, and mentor. Go, Eagles!”… Michael Marchetti ’58 writes that he is “alive and well and I know the good Lord is always with me!”…

1960s Maurice “Mikie” Casem ’61 reports, “As a 73-year-old Grandpa, living with someone else’s kidney (my dear friend Th. Palumbo), and now a survivor of two forms of cancer, I am still trying to be a ‘man for others.’ Every day is a new opportunity for me to receive God’s grace, and to gonzaga.org

Chris Stranix ’06 married Meaghan Rymer on August 15, 2015, at St. Henry’s Church in Nashville, Tennessee. His groomsmen included his brothers J.T. ’03 and Patrick ’08, along with Andrew Onufrychuk ’06, Ian Graham ’06, and Sean Lillard ’06. Chris and Meaghan are living in Philadelphia while Chris completes his MBA at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. share His grace with someone else!”… Tim Nau ’61 gave a series of eight lectures from January through April at the University of Toronto on the indebtedness of the modern world to the European Middle Ages (see photo)… Thomas Holtz ’68 had four prints of his drawings of Assisi, Italy, presented to Pope Francis as a gift at the Vatican Embassy during the Holy Father’s visit to the United States in September 2015… Michael Galleher ’69 is enjoying life in Stuart, FL, where he is a broker with Gonzaga l summer 2016
