Increasing the number of endowed professorships from 16 to 60 will help attract and retain brilliant and
in 2012-13. Total Gonzaga aid for the year surpassed $73 million. Yet a significant need for greater scholarship funding remains. The need stems from a still-lagging economy, federal and state cuts, and rising costs of higher education. Nearly 20 percent of GU students received Pell grants. Of those, 316 students are from families who can afford no tuition at all.
